Windows open, ceiling fan on, and a light breeze blowing through. Perfect fall-I mean summer-evening. We never get weather like this in August-it's normally no cooler than 90 most of the month, so I am savoring it!!

Good evening,
It was a long day here with an unexpected twist. We ended up becoming parents of three new furbabies today! We adopted three, eight week old kittens. We saw a sign saying free kittens and went in for a look. I thought if we were to get any it would have been one, but my wife didn't want to separate the siblings.
This is them, Stella on the left, Tuukka in the back, Luna on the right.
The have the most easygoing temperament for kittens we have ever seen, just a joy to watch. The other furkids are not as happy, and some are quite angry with us. My boy Alex won't even look at me, he just stares at the wall when I talk to him. He is usually the one who runs out to see me as soon as I get home, but angry right now.
I am heading to bed now, I will get caught up tomorrow.

Well, Stella is now Quinn, and Luna is now Eli. We discovered the two little girl kittens are most likely little boys.
