Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Another weekend is almost upon us. Pretty awesome. It's another beautiful morning here. The humidity will rise today but for now it's nice out there. I'm ready for the weekend. I'm going to visit Rollins Saturday and hopefully get an update on his progress and when he might able to come home. Just still amazes me that we're in August already.

The ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW IS OPEN and the view outside of a double-digit Season count is breathtaking!

Days to the Season: 100
Days to Christmas Day: 142

(How can we have come so far so fast?? This is dizzying. I need to catch my breath!)


Cooler again yesterday. (Not really cool, just not as hot and humid as it has been in recent days.) Hope that continues for a while!
Our current temperature is 75 degrees here in central NC after an overnight rain.

Good Morning MMC...Happy Friday!! Tonight we are going to a neighbor's house for a BBQ. Tomorrow my husband is leaving for a golf trip in PA and will come back on Tuesday. So I am taking my oldest daughter and her friend tomorrow night to the BlackLight Run. It is a 5k and everyone runs with glow necklaces, etc..then her friend is sleeping over. It will probably be a quiet day on Sunday. Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!

My weekend will be a very quiet one as to my girls are in upstate NY visiting their dad for a long weekend, so it's just me and Buttercup. Could be one of the last visits they have with him for a while as they both will start school in the next few weeks. London will start her freshman year of college and Lizzybeth starts middle school.

Tonight will be the first time since I can remember watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics without my family. When I was a little girl my mum use to make a big dinner and we'd have family over to watch and I kept that torch going when I had my family. However, I still plan to watch and I'll fix Buttercup an extra special dinner - I'm sure she'll enjoy that.

I've been racking up several hours of over time this week which means I've been coming into the office as early as 7:30 am and I'm exhausted. I can't wait til 5 o'clock gets here. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!
 
Good morning everyone. It is hard to believe it is the 5th of August. But it is exciting really. September and Halloween season are nearly upon us! Christmas season to immediately follow. School starts for us in a little of 2 weeks and then things for really fast.
In today's news... HOT and HUMID. This means, I try to not walk out my front door. Tomorrow we are going to the Cleveland Browns Family Day scrimmage. That will be a lot of fun, and it is Columbus instead of Cleveland which is much closer to where I live.

Reminds me of the old story about some kids who adopted a kitten and named it Ben. Later they found out he was a she, so they called her ... wait for it ... Ben-Hur. I hope they're settling into the family (both fur and hooman) well.

TGIF, and Happy Milestone Day, Christmas friends!

We had some more rain last night, while were at the BBQ restaurant, so it was a pretty good evening! After supper, Nancy & Elizabeth went to our niece's house to watch Zootopia with our great-nephews, and Jacob was jamming at a buddy's house, so I went home and watched a UFO documentary with Lulu. Great evening, all around! :p

Jacob's band has a gig tonight, so we're going out again!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
