Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Like many have said here the last week or 2 (or in xmas365's case since May lol)...I'm over this heat. Enough with it already. I don't live in Texas! But I guess Texas has this weather from May till October basically every single day so it's not quite like that here fortunately :). But anyway I'm going to the mall today and to see some fireworks at the park tonight. I may get an update today on Rollins but if not I am going there Saturday and getting some answers either way.
I hope you all have a great Friday!!!
Enjoy your time at the mall, and the fireworks tonight!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!!! Another hot day today but the 15 day forecast is looking GREAT! You can ignore the rain in the forecast! It never rains here this year. LOL!!! (seriously!)

Yesterday was possibly the steamiest day of the year! Whew! My sis & I picked some tomatoes, peppers, pulled the onion, kohlrabi in the garden - we had to quit. It was so, so hot! But that turned into a beautiful evening to take our convertible to a restaurant where our friend was singing/playing outside on the patio! Our lake neighbors met us there & then they headed straight to the lake for the weekend. We'll meet them there this afternoon! Looking forward to it! Mom is covered for the weekend, so I don't have to stay there all weekend! Not that it's a bother, but it will be nice to have a whole weekend at the lake! :)

Everyone, have a wonderful Friday!!!! Yippee!! :jump

You are so lucky to have that in your near forecast!!

Good Morning, Folks.
We are off to South Carolina, but not before one final count release.

Days to the Season: 93
Days to Christmas Day: 135

And our next Milesteone?
Why, that's only TWO days away now. The day after tomorrow, in fact!
That marker, as our regular readers know, is the 3/4 point to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.

Our weather?
Well, let's just say with all the heat and humidity, I'm REALLY looking forward to the Christmas Season this year!
Got that lawn mowed yesterday morning, but not only did the mower plug up with wet grass, I was soaked too. Even though it was cooler, the humidity did not loosen it's grip!
Oh, well. At least the job is done for another couple of weeks.
We are at 80 degrees here already this morning and it looks like it's going to be a hot trip south!

OK,Guys. I leave you in the highly capable hands of our very own Edge who will safely lead us to our next Milestone Marker on Sunday.

You have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And the greatest Weekend of your lives!
Thanks, Crown~
Have a great Friday!

Our town does have a tree lighting, usually the first Monday in December. I went once by myself before DD was born. She's 11 now & we've never made it back. Most years it's raining and windy that night, so the high school band has trouble playing...

They've started doing a tree lighting in my hometown, just next town over from where I live now. They have an "Old Fashioned Downtown Christmas" the Saturday after Thanksgiving & they light a tree in front of the new train depot on Main Street. I was there for that last year. I take my mom that that event almost every year.
The Old-Fashioned Downtown Christmas sounds lovely, what a beautiful tradition for you & your Mom to partake in together.

Stay cool and hope you find the movie!!

Happy Friday Tis!

Merry Friday Sam...enjoy your day!

Have a great weekend HMG...I hope Maggie is doing better!

TGIF Snowflake...have a great day!

Have a good day Ladybug!

Thanks Crown and have a wonderful trip!
Thanks, SnowflakeMom!
Happy Friday, have a fantastic day!!

Morning all. I trust the night was peaceful for those who were able to slumber through it. Getting a second cup of coffee and getting ready to go get my haircut. The wife says I'm getting a little shaggy. Also have a couple of errands to run, but I'll check back with my Christmas comrades before I call it a night (so to speak).
Hope your errands go well~
Have a nice Friday!

Merry Friday Friends!! Our storm lasted quite a while last night..we did not lose power but lost internet. It came back on late. We don't have too much planned this weekend. My youngest is going to a sleepover tonight and nothing for the rest of the weekend. We were maybe going to go to the beach but not sure on the weather. Hope you all have a blessed Friday!

I forgot to mention last night at the store I bought an all purpose cleaning spray that smells like Honeycrisp apples. It smells so good and reminds me of fall! :D
Glad you didn't lose power! Sorry to hear that you lost internet, though.
Hope your daughter has fun at the sleepover!
Enjoy your time at the beach if you go.
Have a fantastic weekend!

Mmm, love the smell of apples!
I bought a harvest room spray that smells amazing, love the Fall scents!

What a morning ... usually traffic on Friday morning is a relative breeze. But they're doing road construction on the main road leading to my workplace this week. There was a detour, and when I came out of that and headed toward the street where I work, the street was blocked off ... then another detour ... when I came out of that, the only way to the office building was through a restaurant parking lot, and a police car at the entrance was waving me onto the street. I pulled into the parking lot anyway, figuring if he stopped me I could explain that it was the only way I could find to my workplace. He didn't stop me, and I got here all right ... finally. Wondering why they have to work on EVERY street approaching my workplace on the same day!

Anyway, I'm glad it's Friday, and we're looking forward to going to a movie tonight---"Florence Foster Jenkins." Been wanting to see that since they announced it. It's based on the true story of an eccentric society woman in the 1920s, '30s, and '40s who fancied herself as a great singer, but in reality was epically awful. But she was so beloved, and such a generous benefactor of the arts, that nobody told her how really bad she was---until she sang at Carnegie Hall at the age of 76. She made some recordings---just search on YouTube. You won't believe what you hear. But she sincerely thought of herself as remarkably talented, and singing at Carnegie Hall was her big dream, so she went for it.

I was amused this week to discover that a brand of earplugs is sponsoring a sweepstakes in connection with the movie!
How frustrating! Glad to made it to work safely, Merry.
Enjoy the movie tonight!

Good Happy Friday Morning MMC!

Don't know about you all but I for one am glad it's Friday!!!
I hope everyone enjoys this day where ever you are and whatever you do!
.
I'm with you - glad it's Friday (even though I only worked 2 1/2 days this week.) Geez! :p Have a great day!

I don't even like getting in a plane, much less jumping out of one! He's a much braver man than I!
You & me both :p
He's very much a thrill seeker!

Tomorrow, he plans to bike 100 miles o_O *Gulp*
I'm tired just thinking about it! :D

Good Friday morning everyone! It will be a rainy, dreary day here but that's ok, the trees and grass really need it. So we finally found a couch yesterday, a recliner too (hubby is thrilled), it will be delivered Monday night. So today we'll look for a new rug (the one we have is REALLY old and in dire condition). No other plans for today, just want to relax, only a few days of vacation left.
Happy Friday, Martine!
Congrats on the new furniture! Hope you guys enjoy it.
Have a relaxing day.
Hugs to Loki <3

Merry Friday, Holiday!
When you take the rain out of the equation, your forecast looks close to perfect! Although, I hope you get rain because I know you guys could use some :)
Sounds like you had a FUN night!
Have a wonderful weekend ahead!

LOL - I have no idea why Jazzie would do that! HA! We got home from listening to our friend play last night, within 10 minutes Gracie scarfed down her food. Maybe she's holding out b/c we left her last weekend. ;)
:p
Glad she ate pretty good last night. You're right, it could be a little bit of anxiety from your absence, and concerned you'll leave again soon.
Extra hugs for Gracie!!
xx

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Elizabeth is off to school this morning, and Jacob is still in the bed. That boy. He starts college on Monday, but his first class isn't until 11am. I think it'll be a lazy semester for him LOL.

Elizabeth starts back with dance class tonight, too, so we're getting back into our commuter role again.

I plan to finish the grass and the shrubs Saturday morning, then I'm going to see Star Trek again! "Beam me up, Scotty!"

I hope y'all have a great day!
Good Morning & Happy Friday, Brad!
Hope your lawn work goes well tomorrow.
Have FUN at Star Trek again! :D
Enjoy your weekend!

Good morning snowflake!! I hope you & Har had a great night too. Have a wonderful day!
Thanks, Holiday~
It went pretty good-she wasn't as restless, and there weren't any loud storms thankfully.
Hope you have a fantabulous day! ;)

Sounds like an interesting drive to work this morning. Maybe that was a sign you were supposed to go back home?! Ha ha! Hope you enjoy the movie! Have a great day!
