Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Ahh my 4th and last day off in a row. I better rest up so I'm fresh to go to work this week. Actually will be a pretty laid back week at work and my focus will be on Tuesday. Today I'm going to meet my uncle for lunch at the diner. Next Sunday I'll be going to my other Uncle's for dinner which we have every couple of months there now. It's become a nice little tradition and really reconnected us which is a really nice thing. Anyway, for today just gonna go run before this heat gets insane again and then for lunch with my uncle and last but not least some relaxing in A/C!

MILESTONE DAY
Good Morning my friends far and wide reading this countdown. Another Sunday is here and another relaxation day but there is no relaxing in the countdown. As you can see from the headline today is a BIG DAY!

Days to the Season: 91
Days to Christmas Day: 133

And believe it or not my friends we have now made the journey back to the beginning of our cherished Christmas season 75% of the way! Unbelievable. The milestones after this are going to get crazy but I'll let Crown tell you about that on Monday when he returns.

I didn't sleep too well last night but thankfully I was able to stay in bed a bit later this morning. I'm just having my coffee and watching the news. My husband & the girls all have off today. I planned on grilling burgers for lunch and hang out by the pool this afternoon but it's going to be very hot and humid. We'll see how long we last out there.

Wild weather night here, we were under severe thunderstorm warnings 3 different times, and there may be more to come.
Dinner went well and was very yummy.
We also watched Batman vs Superman, I thought it was a very good, but long movie.

Morning all! I've been away at the river one last time this summer and enjoyed it so much! Back to work and real life today. It's going to be 98 with a heat index well over 100...hoping this is the last week like this before things cool off for good for the season...ACs are running full blast!!!

Merry Sunday and happy Milestone Day! My Andre (my boxer) had me up a few times to go out last night..I think his stomach was bothering him. I made him some chicken and rice this morning so I hope that helps him. I didn't sleep too well so a 2nd cup of coffee will be on the agenda. We have another day of just relaxing in the air...hope you all have a great day!

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone has a great Sunday. It is hard to believe we are almost half way through August. Just a 2 and half weeks and we enter the 'Bers!
We are getting some badly needed rain this weekend and into the start of the week. This might mean I will have to mow my grass for the first time since the before the 4th of July! We have had so little rain this rain, I was starting to think my grass was supposed to brown and sound crunchy when I walked on it.

We all should've had a get together late last night, apparently! Sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well, either. And I'm sorry to hear that Andre isn't feeling well. Hope that the chicken and rice saddles his stomach, praying for him.
