Keeping with the theme... today I will be decorating the two small lit pines in my office. I found a bunch of the smaller ornaments while cleaning, so why wait?

I keep northwoods/Alpine trees illuminated throughout the house year round, too. They go with our decorating schemes, and also make our home feel Merry

Good Monday Morning MMC! I had a good lunch with my uncle which lead to a 2 and a half hour talk about life. Was quite interesting. I say it a lot cause I see it in myself too but when I talk to people like him that I have known my whole life I see how getting older changes us (mostly all for the better). Anyway, I decided to text my supervisor yesterday to tell her I may have to take off a semi-emergency vacation day Wednesday. I never ever do that last minute but since I'm picking up Rollins on Tuesday my brother suggested I take off Wednesday so we can spend time with him and get him adjusted for a couple of days. She told me to just email my boss to let her know. She's out of the country this week. Not sure why I am a tiny bit nervous to do so as she has never once given me a hard time about taking a day off...just don't like springing it on her last minute.
