I flipped through my LTD catalog last night - there are some fun things in there! I also started watching but didn't quite finish Chesapeake Shores from Sunday night. Did anyone else watch that? Seems like it will be really good!

Is LTD the same as Lakeside Collection? I got the Lakeside catalog the other day and found a few things to order.
I have Chesapeake Shores DVR'd bit have not watched it yet. I am hoping to this week. Looks like it will be a good series!

I sent her vet an e-mail with her symptoms, along with a few photos, and asked questions. She said that was the best way for a quicker response.
But she has Mondays off, and it often takes her a day or two before we hear back. I've learned to be proactive & plan ahead
One of the vet tech's is leaving her a note to check her e-mail right away when she gets in, so she'll at least be up to speed on our visit.

As of right now, for the first time in years I should be fully staffed for the holidays. It is a good feeling knowing that it shouldn't be a struggle this year.

Well, after the exciting arrival of our latest Milestone, one would think that a breather would be in order.
But this is MMC, and we are starting to enter the fast track to Christmas 2016 and its gloriously exciting Season.

As such, is it really any surprise that our next marker is now only NINE days away?
(That's already SINGLE DIGITS, Guys!!)
The pending Milestone in issue is the TWO-THIRDS point to Christmas Day and it arrives on August 25.

Days to the Season: 89
Days to Christmas Day: 131

And just to give you a (not so) early heads-up, the marker after that is the 100-day Christmas Day Window.

Our heat and humidity have been around here so long I think we are wearing it.

Good morning MMC!

Hoping all is well with everyone.
I feel like summer is definitely drawing to a close with the start of the school year just next week for my youngest and the following week for my oldest. However, the heat and humidity has been one for the ages and if it goes on much longer I will be most happy to see it high tail it outta here.

This week is full of preparation for school with a "Get Rid of Those Gitters" night at Lizzybeth's school for all of those kids transitioning from elementary school to middle school this Thursday.

My girls will also be helping with decorating our church fellowship hall for a bridal shower for one of our young ladies who's getting married this fall. Her shower is this Saturday. My Lizzybeth is soooo super excited to help and attend because she was one of two kids from church invited and that's in part due to the fact that she is one of the handful of kids who is invited to the actual wedding. She has a role in the wedding which I'm so excited for her as this is the second wedding she's been asked to participate in. However in a church full of kids our little family is having to avoid questions about if we're invited to the shower/wedding and why Lizzybeth gets to go since hardly any of the other children will be there. I don't envy the bride at all in having to make the decision as to who to invite and not - I've been in her shoes and it's not fun. She's cried due to all of the ones she's grown up in the church with for so many years that she can't have there but it's just a matter of space and affordability. People sometimes forget that weddings are soooo expensive and no one can possibly invite everyone. Her fiance is from FL and he has his family and friends from his side that he wants to invite too.

Nonetheless I'm uber excited for her and can't wait for her big BIG day! Her fiance was visiting this past weekend and I tell you her blue eyes somehow get brighter just being around him. They look so happy!

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Today's the day I've been waiting for over 2 weeks. It's hard to believe that it's here but I should be getting Rollins this afternoon. I'm leaving work early and going to get him a bed, toys, food etc. Then I'm gonna pick him up. My boss replied to my "emergency vacation day" request with a "thanks for letting me know. No problem." Other than that we may celebrate tonight by ordering some pizza. I wonder what Rollins will think of pizza. Hopefully everything will go well today and I hope you all have a great day!
