Have fun with Rollins today!
Welcome back Rich!Good morning everyone!
Happy Pines Day too!
My conference was a huge success. We had about 1000 men show up. Mike Huckabee said it was one of the smoothest conferences he's been to. Looking forward to doing it again in 2018.
I hope you all are doing well. My shoulder surgery (scheduled for yesterday) was postponed a week due to the air conditioner going out in the O.R. So now I'm back at work with everyone asking me why I'm here.
See you at the Shispering Pines tonight.
Have a blessed day!![]()
Thanks Crown! I think we are ALL looking forward to the Bers!Top of the Morning, my Friends!
And at the top of our agenda is the status of our count, which grows more interesting by the day.
Days to the Season: 88
Days to Christmas Day: 130
The TWO-THIRDS Milestone to Christmas day is now in sight and in fact looms ahead just ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!
(I know that's hard to believe but don't take my word for it. Just check out our handy-dandy Milestone Marker Chart located at post number 1 of this thread.)
But you will have to take my word concerning our oppressive weather, as day after day of heat and humidity take a toll on us.
I am SO looking forward to September. (And not only for heat relief --- it's also the month "Christmas Blossoms 2016" will be released!)
We are at 80 typically humid degrees here, currently.
Well, Carl is well aware of the weather situation and so this evening's entertainment is centered pool side. Drinks are free at the pool IF you are willing to sample Carl's latest blend recipes.
(Based on past experience, you should think before you sip!)
Anyway, I'll be there. Hope you will be, too.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
I saw this on FB yesterday. They are saying cold temps and above average snow. We'll see...I believe they said the same thing last year too! lolXmas365...hear about our possible "cool down" next week and the farmer's almanac predicting a cold/snowy winter for the northeast (but don't they do that EVERY year)?
Welcome back, Rich!! Happy to hear the conferences was such a success!Good morning everyone!

Losing power is such a pain even if it is for a short time. Hope you hear from the vet today? How did she sleep last night?Good morning, friends~
Merry Pines Day!
We lost power again last night, so I was up a bit trying to find a back up alarm.
Wasn't out for very long, maybe 45 minutes. The storm clouds were beautiful, though. Came out of nowhere.
I am hoping to hear from Harlowe's vet this morning before she starts to see patients, that would be ideal.
Wishing you a blessed & peaceful day!
See you tonight

Happy Pines, Edge.....hope everything goes smoothly for your "event" today...Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! My "emergency" vacation day today after being off 2 days last week, a few days in July, going in a couple hours late tomorrow, etc...think I need to get back into the work groove. Anyway, I'm not mentioning you know what until it happens lol. I'm not gonna jinx it again. I do hope everyone is well. I have some things to do today on my day off...and I think you know by now what I HOPE that is. Other than that, my brother had a good birthday with pizza and cake (and a friend came over for it). It was nice. 2 weeks from today guys...the EVE of the BERS!!!
Have a great Pines Day everyone!!
Thanks!

Thanks Holiday! Hopefully you'll hear about it shortly...Happy Pines Day!Good morning MMC! Happy Hump Day! Merry Pines Day! So far it's been a dreary morning - I don't think we're supposed to get rain today but I guess we'll find out!
Last night I put up 25 pints of pizza sauce (broken down in smaller jars) - ended up with 12 8-oz jelly jars, 14 12 oz. jelly jars, 6 pint jars & 1 quart jar + some leftover I put in the fridge! That's enough pizza sauce to last us a LONG TIME! HA! It just so happens our friends son works for a trucking company who had a whole skid of tortilla shells rejected so last night he gave us 3 huge packs of tortilla shells! Guess what we're having for supper tonight?? Yep, pizza's on tortilla shells. Mmmmm!
@Edge612 - I'm excited for you this morning! Can't wait to hear you have the little trouble maker at home!
@snowflake22 - been thinking about you guys! Praying for all good news today. Hope you all had a good night last night! xx
Everyone, have a wonderful day!

I forgot what "less humidity" feels like!Happy Pines Day!! It is supposed to be a cloudy day but with less humidity...we'll see. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
I'm okay with snow when I don't have to drive in it ... I'm always nervous about the timing of a storm during the workweek.I'm with you on the cool down...snow for Christmas...lots of snow for winter? Not so much.
Yeah the big storm we got in January on a Saturday was fun!I'm okay with snow when I don't have to drive in it ... I'm always nervous about the timing of a storm during the workweek.
Glad to hear the conference went smoothly, but sorry to hear that you have another week of waiting before the surgery. See you at the 'Pines, if I get out of here in time tonight.Good morning everyone!
