I have to start dinner and then get ready for the concert. I might pop back this evening, if we don't get in too late. I hope everyone has a nice night.

Snowflake, you and Harlowe are in my thoughts. Continued prayers for the both of you ♥
Have a wonderful time tonight!

Thanks so much <3
I called the vet's office, to confirm they had results and she would be calling me tonight, and I am supposed to hear back after 5:00 sometime.
xx

AWE!! Good ol made! :)
That reminds me of when Gracie started with all her issues & she had to go to the vet everyday for a week for IV's....her little wrapped paw made me feel so bad!

Oh my goodness, IV every day for a week? Poor Gracie. But she looks so fluffy and cuddly in that pic.

Here's my little Loki after they had run some tests a couple of years ago. Not a happy dog there...

Good morning everyone!
Happy Pines Day too!
My conference was a huge success. We had about 1000 men show up. Mike Huckabee said it was one of the smoothest conferences he's been to. Looking forward to doing it again in 2018.

I hope you all are doing well. My shoulder surgery (scheduled for yesterday) was postponed a week due to the air conditioner going out in the O.R. So now I'm back at work with everyone asking me why I'm here.:)

See you at the Shispering Pines tonight.
Have a blessed day! :)
Congratulations on your conference Rich! Sorry about the delay for your surgery. Hope the pain is manageable in the meantime.

Good morning everyone. 1 week until the first day of school. I went into my school and classroom this morning to drop some things off and Nathan had cross country practice. The new elementary/middle school looks great and they have done some renovations to the high school. Looking forward to the start of the school year!

Hope everyone has a great day! Happy Pines Day!
I can't believe school is starting again. One by one I'm calling my student-employees into the office to learn of their new schedules. I can say that most are not exactly looking forward to the start of the school year as you are ;) Hope you had a good day.

Good morning everyone ~
Happy Pines Day!
I'm heading out soon, I have to do some food shopping. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. My husband just called to tell me he bought two tickets to see Black Sabbath tonight. Yes, we were totally in to that kind of music when we were teenagers. Ozzy is touring with them and I really want to see him, I'm sure he's going to retire sooner or later. The show will be at Jones Beach, thankfully the weather is going to be beautiful tonight. I'm excited!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
Sounds like an exciting concert, have fun! Not exactly my type of music but Ozzy is a legend. Glad you get to see him on tour.

Thank you, Holiday!
She was pretty stressed, but it's the restlessness at night that really upsets me. She seems so anxious. I always see that as a symptom of CHF, but no article ever explains why they are uncomfortable and get restless. I'm sure it can be the coughing, but hers wasn't too bad last night. Maybe breathing? Heart rate? I will have to ask her vet again, as it has never been clear. I wonder what it is with Har.
Thanks again for the prayers <3
Have a fabulous day!
xx
Have you heard any news from the vet Snowflake22? I've been thinking of you and really hoping you get some answers and a good course of actions to take to relieve Harlowe of her restlesness and anxiety. Poor little thing. Hugs from Loki and me.

Hi Martine,

I finally spoke to Dr. Bohl- she ran a cardiac pro DNP test yesterday-heart stress, muscle, etc. All in normal range! X-Ray showed that not much has changed! Labs looking pretty normal, too. Doesn't see any liver or kidney issues. She is actually pretty stumped & confused. She says all of these tests came back great however contradicting the murmur she can clearly hear, feel, and that we are seeing the symptoms of. Her heart is still enlarged, but X-Ray showed it hasn't significantly changed. I am over the moon, but also a little bit cautious and concerned as well. She said that she has exhausted every avenue on her end, and the next step would be seeing a specialist/cardiologist, and possibly doing an ultrasound to start with. She would have to refer us to one, the closest would be in the Twin Cities. She said it's not an emergency, but would be good to answer some questions and to make sure that we are treating this correctly. Maybe it's not CHF, but another heart disease? And quite possibly maybe a different medication would be more beneficial.

So I am very happy about this! But realize she still has heart disease, and need further clarification.
Maybe I can get that miracle ❤️

Thanks for asking, and keeping her in your prayers. We are sending hugs back your way!

I hope you enjoyed the concert.

I am so happy for you both!!! Rollins looks like a pure ball of energy, hope you have tons yourself. He is just too adorable.
Thanks! He's 5 months old today (born on St. Patrick's Day). His first day home and he's following us like he's afraid we're gonna leave him or something. He just is getting used to his surroundings I'm sure. I need him to get more comfortable and not be worried that we're going to leave him. He's responding to his name already. It's been a good day...but I am tired.

That is wonderful news about Har! I hope by seeing a specialist you will get some answers. Poor Har...I hope she has a better night.

Awww...sweet guy. I am sure in a couple of days he will settle in great. Hope you get some sleep night.
