Nice for you guys, bad for that store..lol. They must get unloaded on like crazy. Although being a Plan o Gram store they may have a receiving area twice the size of a normal store. Just out of curiousity..do you find items for sale in your store that dont fit into the area you live in?

I finally spoke to Dr. Bohl- she ran a cardiac pro DNP test yesterday-heart stress, muscle, etc. All in normal range! X-Ray showed that not much has changed! Labs looking pretty normal, too. Doesn't see any liver or kidney issues. She is actually pretty stumped & confused. She says all of these tests came back great however contradicting the murmur she can clearly hear, feel, and that we are seeing the symptoms of. Her heart is still enlarged, but X-Ray showed it hasn't significantly changed. I am over the moon, but also a little bit cautious and concerned as well. She said that she has exhausted every avenue on her end, and the next step would be seeing a specialist/cardiologist, and possibly doing an ultrasound to start with. She would have to refer us to one, the closest would be in the Twin Cities. She said it's not an emergency, but would be good to answer some questions and to make sure that we are treating this correctly. Maybe it's not CHF, but another heart disease? And quite possibly maybe a different medication would be more beneficial.
So I am very happy about this! But realize she still has heart disease, and need further clarification.
Maybe I can get that miracle

Now we just have to figure out that we're treating the right condition.
Regarding the restlessness-Nothing other than what we're already doing-the holistic vetri science calming treats/tabs.
They do help. Some night are just worse than others. Last night was pretty decent.
We don't know specifically what is causing her distress, but for many dogs with heart disease they feel off-when laying, the fluid builds up in the lungs causing them to cough, have breathing issues, feeling uncomfortable/pressure, etc. Sadly there's no magic drug to stop that, and she doesn't really want to prescribe anything too harsh on top of everything else she's taking already.
I will keep searching though, and ask the specialist as well.
