TGIF MMC...we made it to Friday! Just working today and tomorrow I think we may go to the beach and my FIL is coming down on Sunday from Boston. I am on vacation next week. We don't have too much planned...probably the beach a few times and then taking my kids to the outlets shopping. Hope you all have a great Friday!

inTGIF, Christmas friends!

I thought I'd come in here early, just in case this day gets as wild as the last couple were.

We had a viewing Wednesday of the commercial we've been recording for Bernie's store. As I mentioned, it's not for TV. It's a contest wherein 20 businesses will be selected to get a fancy, new pizza assembly and cooking station for their stores.

Anyway, the district sales manager for this pizza company was nearby that day, and stopped to view our progress. He was so impressed, he's offered to submit it personally to his home office with his recommendation. So, Bernie is excited! I hope he wins!

It has been quite a while since I have eaten at Subway, not from being sick, but horrible customer service. Too many times, at different restaurants.

Many years ago I found a really long hair in my subway sub. Now I'm not shallow, I know that can happen anywhere...but since then I have eaten very few subway subs (they aren't my favorite anyway) & when I do all I can think about is that darn hair. LOL!

Woke up to a Tornado siren. Har & I have been up most of the night because of the severe storms. It has been loud.
I had the TV and fans on, but couldnt mask the thunder.

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! I'm running a little behind because of Rollins. I have to find a way to get settled back into my schedule. This morning he snuck up on me when I tried to sneak out and go running. Then I had to play with him, take him out, feed him etc. before I could do my thing. I guess it's going to be an interesting weekend. I'm ready I think.

Good morning MMC!!! Happy, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! I'm getting a late start at work today since I stayed with Mom last night - will be a quick 1/2 day for me! YAY! My night got a little crazy last night since Mom decided she wanted to go to the store with me. She said her list was too big, she should go too. Her bill was $12.88! LOL!! I love her! Anyway, I dropped her off at home, went home & cleaned/cut 2 grocery bags of tomatoes & threw them in the freezer for soups this winter, I mixed up Jims birthday cake & sautéed onion/jalapeno's for Queso Dip tonight - chopped the cilantro & tomatoes for that too. Then I went to Moms, baked the cake & I browned hamburger with spicy sausage to make those appetizers on the little rye breads. Can you tell I'm excited for appetizer night at the lake tonight?

I'm off to try to catch up! Everyone, have a wonderful day!!!! FRIDAY!

It's Friday y'all!!!
The girls and I have a bridal shower to attend and all attendees were asked to bring a salad. I'm bringing my curry shrimp and quinoa salad with cranberries and sliced almonds. I have to start marinating the shrimp and soaking the quinoa tonight so that I can wake up by 6am in the morning to actually make it. I've made it before a few times and it's always a hit at our church functions, so much so there's usually no left overs that I have to schlep home. The shower itself is at 11am so I'm sure it will be done by early afternoon and I'll have the entire day left to do a little grocery shopping and start back to school prep. Lizzybeth's first day of middle school is Monday. She is very excited and wants her waist length hair blown out for her first day. Oh boy!!! That is a time commitment of at least two hours of my Sunday I'll never see again. LOL

For those of you who've already begun sending your kids back to school how's it going? Any funny stories or pics you wanna share?

Welcome to Friday morning my Christmas companions. Well, the Vikes won last night, but I do not place too much emphasis on the pre-season. Watching the Disney Christmas Sing-a-long video to relax, get me more in the mood and ready to call it a night. I trust everyone is in good health and spirits. I'm excited for appetizer night for you, that sounds like so much fun! I love the appetizers in that picture, I have to find a way to make that this Christmas. Saving the image for inspiration.

Long time since I had to send someone to school, but I'm sure you will have many fond memories to share. Have fun at the shower.

Yeah we didn't socialize Loki enough when he was a puppy and we see the result. I'm a very quiet person and don't like to go out too often or have too many people at home. So other than taking Loki out on walks, he didn't get to be around tons of people all the time and he's now very protective and possessive. But he's all bark and no bite.

Loki is one lucky pooch too!

So glad it's Friday! First week back at work wasn't too crazy but I'm ready for a day off. It's going to be another couple of really hot and humid days. Summer is stretching on. Enjoy your day everyone!
