Hello Everyone! Long time since I've stopped in. It is great to be back and read through so many great comments. I have been so busy and the hot humid yucky weather dragged me down long enough. I needed some Christmas/Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving/upcoming 'ber month happy time!

My sister and I went to breakfast this morning, then wandered through Hobby Lobby admiring EVERYTHING! Of course I thought right away of my favorite forum. So, I just wanted to say, "Hi!" It is great to be back among friends!

It's so exciting HMG! Walking into the local supermarket this morning seeing all the Halloween/Thanksgiving stuff out.

Yes, I went food shopping earlier and the seasonal aisle is packed with Autumn/Halloween. Love it!

I'll put it together for you shortly. Of course the easy version will have you using a pre-made crust that you can find at the store. A homemade crust is cool, but will require a bit more time. Be back with you in awhile.View attachment 28226

I really havent found pre made crusts that tasted that great. About Grandma's post... I do remember her pie dough had a very different color than the recipe she gave me. Well..its hard to explain. Maybe it was a different shade of color..whatever she substituted in my recipe from hers makes it different in texture and flavor.

He's 9 lbs! Much bigger personality than his stature. Yes we are almost into the Autumn season finally!

Happy Saturday .... well the Ber months are getting closer and closer. It may not be fall yet but I picked up some fall scented tarts for my tart warmers today. Its amazing how much can change in a grocery store in a matter of a few days. Was in there mid week and its the normal summer displays .... went back lastnight .. Mums, hay bales and bundles of firewood all out front, Halloween and fall displays all throughout the store and an Aisle full of halloween candy! I am so over this heat and humidity. I am beyond ready for fall temps and everything fall related ...

Merry Saturday!
Just started laundry and tidied up the house. I'm heading out as soon as I finish my cup of coffee, I have to make a big food shopping trip. Back home afterward to work on some more chores around the house, I'm going to start deep cleaning. I want to get the house in order, I'll be taking out my Autumn decor before I know it. Can't wait to decorate!

Good Saturday Morning MMC! The weekend before the last weekend before the BERS! A little tongue twister. I got my bagel and iced coffee but as soon as I got back Rollins was up and waiting for me to start his day. I took him out, gave him food and water. Of course he wants to play. But he seems at least slightly calmer/more settled than he did the first couple of days. I think he knows this is his home now. He just likes a lot of attention but he also is at least starting to nap a little more to give himself a break too. I have to do some errands today and of course spend time with him.

And get this now -- our next Milestone, the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day -- is just barely over HALF A WEEK AWAY!
(Hardly seems possible, and yet.........)


Well, it is subtly cooler and less humid than earlier in the week, but real relief will not arrive until Monday, when (hopefully) we can genuinely feel a degree of comfort.
This morning has commenced here in our portion of MMC land at 79 degrees.
