Good Morning, Everyone! Not much planned for today. I need to do some cleaning and laundry to get ready for the upcoming week. It's not so bad in the cool dry weather. We will probably get outside for a walk later. We go to the playground near our house, but lately Lydia likes to go for walks in her stroller. What a great day for a walk, in JEANS!! I am also looking forward to this evening. The new season of "Fear the Walking Dead" is on tonight!

Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!

My brother got my weed-eater running yesterday, so I cleaned up around the house and pool. It was so hot when I finished, I floated in the pool for an hour. Now that was relaxing!

Today, Nancy & I are going to mama's for lunch, and the kids are going out to eat with the church youth group.

Sunday has dawned overcast and muggy. Started raining at 9 am as soon as I said I was going to mow the lawn today..

Happy Sunday to all. 126 day until the big day. Very exciting. Our Santa Sacks my wife ordered for us came in the mail on Friday, so that was a fun little surprise.

We have new neighbors, who I use to know back when I was in high school. It's crazy how small the world is. His wife is a Christmas Nut like me, and they want to decorate their outdoors like ours, since our homes are a mirror copy of each other. They agreed to go with the old fashion thick painted outdoor lights that I want to use this year. I think the two houses will look amazing. I'm so excited for this.

As of yesterday, I played my 81st round of golf for the season. Shot an 80. My goal again this year is to still be playing after we put up our Christmas tree on November 1st. It's fun combining the two seasons.

Just a quick hello, I have to get started on breakfast. My two oldest have to work for a few hours. Not too much planned for today, it's going to be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. I'm going to take a ride to HomeGoods & Michaels this afternoon. Can't wait to see the seasonal decor, I'm sure I'll pick up a couple things : )

Holistic Health Extension (dry) and Cesar's (wet). That's what they gave us so I assume he had been eating tha tkind.

Are you going to use a vet he's been going to? You can see what they recommend for a finicky eater. They could just tell you that it may just be a adjustment phase, too.

Hey friends! I'm in the middle of a real stretch here-60 hours of work last week and 50 this! I hope to be back more regularly after this week. I'm teaching band camp (@Iteachpercussion I've thought of you while talking with our drum tech!) and LOVING it, but also still doing my two other jobs on top of it, so I'm pretty busy from morning to evening and barely have enough time for myself and the husband-gotta prioritize! Things are set supposedly to cool off here for a bit and HOPEFULLY not get as hot as it has been again. I am SO ready for fall weather. I can't believe next week we'll get into the ber's! Hope everyone is well and that things are going smoothly for you as we prepare to descend into fall soon!

And illuminated just up ahead is the next Milestone beacon, sheding direct light on our pending marker, the 2/3 point to Christmas Day 2016, now less than half a week down the road and coming up fast!


Still the warmth and humidity, and it will be with us for another day until the promised relief comes tomorrow.
(I can't wait!)
Currently, we are at 78 still damp degrees here in the capital city of NC.

I'll have to tell my husband-he loves TWD and the Fear of the Walking Dead too-I get too scared and can't watch. I'm also cleaning and taking care of things, but in shorts-the heat hasn't broken here yet! Good to see you and to hear how things are going today!
