Christmas Countdown - 2016

I'm a little partial when Christmas falls through the week, but I'm pretty fortunate to be off between the holidays. I understand it is nice for those who normally have to work Christmas Eve, unless it's on a weekend though!
I mainly like it through the week b/c my brother/SIL from Massachusetts will normally stay longer if it's through the week.! If Christmas Eve is on Wednesday, they will fly in on Tuesday & stay until the following Sunday or Monday. But if Christmas Eve is on Saturday, they will fly in Friday & be gone by Monday! :( Although this year my nephew gets married on Dec. 10th - they will be home for the wedding so they may not even come back for Christmas. That will be a big bummer! :(
I hope your church continues on with having service on Christmas Eve! xx

Whew! I just figured out how to get logged in again. I was afraid I had lost you all for good.

We are all moved into our home addition. We took our first showers in the master bathroom this morning. Tonight we will be able to use the sinks & toilet. It's the little things that make us so happy! Labor Day is my unofficial start to the Christmas countdown & I can't believe it's just two weeks away.

One of the guys that was in my old Company just txt and sent me this .gif. He said he has a whole pail of it if I come down and help him get through a land navigation course tomorrow..lol
Now I gotta go to Starbucks!!

Everyone, have a Merry Tuesday Evening!!! We are heading out in convertibles to a restaurant famous for their wings! Not sure what I'll have yet, but it all looks good. See ya'll tomorrow!
