Tornado sirens going off, thunder and lighting, pouring rain, I think I'll go sit on the porch.

I've got to say, all of our meteorologists deserve a bonus after today. They've been on air 7 hours and counting now covering all of the tornado warnings.

Along the same line, enough already mother nature!!!

Hope you stayed safe through ALL the rounds of storms that passed through there! Our friend was in his semi just a few miles from Indy at 7:30 last night - he was sending pictures! Looked creepy!

Barely over a week to go until September, the month Christmas Blossoms 2016 begins!
(Which reminds me, I had better make some inquiries at Crabtree to see if "A Christmas To Remember" will be there this year and when. There are actually a couple of empty spaces available they could use.)

Thanks!! We are all okay here. It was pretty creepy out there. There was a weak tornado that came out along I 70 on the east side at one point but it lifted before it got here. You could see the trees shifting directions though as it passed over head.

I spent most of my day in my freezer at work, setting it up for inventory and for the turkeys which are 7 weeks away. Clean it out now, all we have to do is maintain it now.
I came home and mowed the lawn, it has been 2 weeks, but it was a hay field with all the rain we have gotten.

Day off tomorrow.

Yeah I remember the first three years with Loki, he sure loved our Christmas tree and liked to pull on ornaments (a few broken ones over the years). Now we put the breakables higher up. Last year he left the tree alone. Rollins is at the stage where he's discovering everything for the first time, the tree will be so inviting to him. Good luck

Loki sounds so much like Gracie. This will be Gracie's 3rd Christmas (hard to believe!) I was hoping she was over the tree this year - are you telling me we have another year of broken ornaments??

Good morning snowflake! Hard to believe the BER's are 1 week away! Summer just flew right on by! I brought the weather forecast out to my co-worker this morning - he said a few explicits when he realized it was September NEXT week! LOL!

It's going to be partly cloudy today with a high of 81 degrees. Maggie has a groomer appointment this morning. Other than that it will be a typical day. I've been doing lots of cleaning the past few days, the house will soon be ready for my Autumn decor. I'm so excited about decorating

Good morning HMG! Please post pics of sweet Maggie. Hope her apt goes well. Gracie was at the groomer yesterday. She must have thrown a temper tantrum any time Kelly (the groomer) walked out of the room. Kelly said she just acted different than usual. We figured it was b/c of the incoming storms. Poor girl!

Can't wait to see pics of your fall decorations! Exciting!

I remember we had a toy collie when I was growing up and if you took a gift, held it in front of her and told her it was her gift, it would be opened in the morning. Only that one, it was so cool (especially if it was really mine).

Thank you snowflake! After the tornado touched down by Made they said it was heading our way, but thankfully it went a little more north & what did head this way dissipated some! I was thinking of made & I have 2 nieces & a nephew over by Toledo where they were having warnings. Also Emma's family in Indiana. As far as I know everyone stayed safe. No news = good news, right?
That Starbucks that went down in Kokomo, In was crazy!
Hopefully this evening is much calmer for all!
