Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Happy 'Bers Eve Eve! Hope everyone is well. I was ready early to come to work a half hour before my starting time, took care of Rollins, and then couldn't find my phone lol. Found it 20 minutes later so I just took my time and came to work for my normal time. 2 days left till our favorite time of year begins!

Good morning everyone. The last few days have been rough as my wife and her family have been very upset. Her uncle was killed in a motorcycle accident last week. Today is the funeral. Hate seeing them hurting. It was my father-in-law's brother and it just breaks my heart to see my FIL so torn up.

Okay, enough sad news! Y'all have a good second to last day of August! Hope your day goes wonderful.

That's interesting that Loki reacts to cartoons, Har does with real animals but not cartoons. Unless she hears a bark

Har isn't a t.v. watcher? We caught Rollins watching t.v. the other day. I don't even remember what show we had on but he sat there interested for a few minutes.

Anyone have any big/fun plans for the long holiday weekend (as holiday says it's never too early to start thinking about the weekend).

We don't really have too many plans. I think my Dad may come over for a cookout. Otherwise relaxing is on the agenda.

I feel like I'm fully back into the swing of things now with all of the kids back in school. Last night as we had dinner I got to hear about school, new friends and new experiences. Since it was London's first day in college it was her turn to have her favorite meal. She loves my veggie lasagna and I baked her a double chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Tonight's meal will be quick chicken nuggets, broccoli and mashed potatoes but I'll prep tomorrow's meal of a turkey meatloaf so all London will have to do is pop it in the oven right before I get home and I fix a quick side and veggie. I like to have my meals on Wednesday be as stress free as possible for evening bible study and Master Club at church so I prep the night before.

I'm trying to determine how I will celebrate 'ber season on Thursday. Tossing ideas around for now and even that is fun. lol

I love that you cook their favorite meals for special occasions as such. My Mom still does that for me when I go home for a visit, and it means a lot.

Fenway is amazing. I never thought it would be so small. And one thing that struck me is how those food vendors just.never.stop. during the game. I don't know how they do it. Glad you had a good time and happy to hear that your appointment went well as well.

Fenway is amazing---I love the sense of history there. It only holds about 32,000---ten years ago when the Sox were hot and won a couple of World Series, they were squeezing new seats in wherever they could. As for the vendors ... last Friday night was awfully hot and humid and we were dying for a cold Coke. They were hawking about six different kinds of beer, but they didn't sell Cokes until about the 6th inning! We got some bottled water in the meantime. $4.50 a bottle. The prices there ... holy cow! $3.75 for a li'l tiny ice cream sandwich! But it's always fun to attend a game there.

Last Friday night was when Aly Raisman, the Olympic gymnast, threw the ceremonial first pitch. Before she pitched, she took off her medals and hung them around David Ortiz's neck for safekeeping!

Thank you~ I think it was. She hasn't been wanting to walk in the heat & high humidity, and she needs that exercise. When she doesn't get it, her stomach gets upset. That's been an issue these last few weeks, especially. Hopefully, as it cools down, she will get back on track.

Too funny! Gracie goes crazy when there is an animal or animal noises on tv! Just try to watch "A Golden Christmas" with her! HA!! Enjoy the movie!

Good Morning....just a typical Tuesday of work and the girls start school tomorrow. My oldest daughter made the high school soccer team so her practices start today.

I am happy to report that Leo, my terror I mean terrier is back to his old self since his toenail issues...he greeted me with the TV remote in his mouth. He doesn't chew it but I think that is his way of asking for attention..lol

We're taking our annual Labor Day camping trip. We get an extra night this year because DD doesn't have school on Friday. Can't wait! When we get back on Monday, I hope to get out the little bit of fall decor that I have.
