Thank you~ I think it was. She hasn't been wanting to walk in the heat & high humidity, and she needs that exercise. When she doesn't get it, her stomach gets upset. That's been an issue these last few weeks, especially. Hopefully, as it cools down, she will get back on track.
Thanks for the hugs & prayers! Sending hugs back to you & Gracie!
Awe! I hope for Har's sake it cools down soon so she can get back to walking more! xx Continued prayers. Thanks for the hugs!

I bet that was an adventure!! :p
LOL ~ I actually turned it off. Couldn't hear it anyway over her standing on her hind legs BARKING at the tv! :p :D

Good Morning....just a typical Tuesday of work and the girls start school tomorrow. My oldest daughter made the high school soccer team so her practices start today.

I am happy to report that Leo, my terror I mean terrier is back to his old self since his toenail issues...he greeted me with the TV remote in his mouth. ;):D He doesn't chew it but I think that is his way of asking for attention..lol
Hope you all have a great day!
Congrats to your daughter making the soccer team! I hope everyone has a good year at school!
I'm glad to hear Leo is back to normal. So cute he brought you the tv remote! What a sweet baby!
Have a great day!

Thank you so much ~
Still a bit shaken up. I should go get her a doggy life jacket!
SnowflakeMom, I'm going to ask Maggie's veterinarian to check her vision the next time I'm there. I was thinking that might have had something to do with it. She turned 12 on August 1st, you never know.
That's a good idea, keep us posted.
Praying & sending lots of love to you both.
xo

Mr.'s golden retriever lost some eyesight when she got older. We were outside with her, and she would walk a few steps, then whimper with a questioning tone ... another few steps, another little whimper. Mr. said, "What's bothering her?" I said, "I think she can't see where you are. Wave your arms and call to her." He did, and she came running. Dogs can "home in" on movement even when their eyesight is weakening. It's part of their hunting instinct.

Awww, makes me sad to think about it though. Having a dog is one of the best things in the world. Watching them age is so difficult.

Thank you so much ~

Thinking of you guys. Buster started to lose his eyesight too, but he was probably more like 16 or so when that happened. Praying it was just a fluke for Maggie & it doesn't happen again! (((HUGS)))

Thank you snowflake! I hope so too! Thankfully the boys in the shop are busy right now, just not much work in the office! This is usually a slow time...especially during an election year!
hope your day is going well!
I see, well enjoy your down time!
Thanks, it's going well :)

At 9:30 AM? :) I know you like to anticipate things! I'm already hungry.
LOL - I'm always ready to go home & see my girl! Wasn't thinking about food yet, just going home! ;) :D Really I'm just so excited to hang laundry on the line. Ha ha ha! :p

She loves tv! Watches & listens to it often.
We leave it on for her, when we aren't home.
Especially is fascinated by anything with animals on.
She just doesn't react to animals on cartoons, like she would a real animal ;)
We always let the Hallmark Channel on for Gracie! LOL

Tuesday morning. Usually the start of my work week, but I took a vacation day to go through Christmas decorations. Not sure if I will finish today, but hopefully get a huge portion of it done.
The 80's have returned to South Dakota (at least for this week). Thank goodness Fall is less than a month away. I trust you are all doing well. Ryan, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. HomemakinGirl, I pray you "four-legged" family member is doing better. We have two here both are seven years old. To everyone reading... Have a Blessed week!

I think he will enjoy some of the Halloween and Christmas shows I'll be watching this 'Bers season.
You might scare him with those Halloween movies!!:eek:;)

Thank you! It is frustrating for all of us, because we know it's what she needs on one hand. But her vet said we need to listen to her, and how she's feeling, and not to push any activity she's not up for. And that girl loves her walks, so I know she must be bummed too.
xx
