Good Saturday Morning MMC! A 3 day weekend begins and it's a cloudy one here. Looks like that storm may come close enough to give us some rain and certainly clouds this weekend. That's ok. Rollins favorite thing on weekends is to stay outside in the mornings for a while with me in the yard so we should be able to do that as it's not going to rain today at least. Other than that some errands and relaxation on the agenda for this Saturday!

Happy Labour day weekend to all celebrating. Our last three day weekend was last week and it always feels like the official close to summer season. We are still holding on to warm weather in the 60s though so I am pleased about that!

Nothing exciting going on here today. My husband and the girls all have to work for a few hours. I have to make a big food shopping trip and work on my daily chores. Hopefully we'll all meet up for dinner though. I just realized it will be a good time to start taking down my decorations if we're stuck inside because of the storm. I'll see if I can talk my husband in to it!

Yes, Hermine has passed us here in Raleigh with no problems other than a few pine cones and small branches down.
(It remains to be seen what happened at the cottage, for which we are about to leave.)

Days to Christmas Day: 113

The 100-day Christmas Day marker?
Now UNDER two weeks off, as our rapid advance on Christmas Season 2016 continues!


Quite soaked here this morning as you might expect but the heat is supposed to hold off until the middle of next week so we will get a breather until then in that regard.
Right now, it is 76 degrees here in central North Carolina under still cloudy skies.


Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody.
Made will be taking over for the next two mornings as we travel east to the coast!

Happy Saturday! Thrilled it's finally the long weekend. Other than shopping and running some errands, I'll be working on the album for the store's 10th anniversary. I have a lot of messages from the employees, now I have to put it all together. And hopefully we'll have a movie night with homemade popcorn, it's been a while.

Another colleague of mine spent the day in the hospital yesterday. They were running many tests after he suffered some serious lower abdomen pain Thursday night. We hadn't had any news by day's end Friday. I'm really hoping everything will be ok for him.
