We had a big scandal before last Christmas at the local Post Office because they werent delivering packages due to some lame reason it got in the way of their Christmas Parties in house. If I remember correct..5 postmen/women got fired over that fiasco.
I never understand why people make such poor decisions and wind up losing their job. Our mailman is always running in between houses. I wonder why...
Some federal jobs make it almost impossible to be fired from. If you understand how the system works, it is insane.
Happy Saturday, Minta~Happy Saturday .. well so far Hermine is staying away except for cloud cover and nice breeze. We were able to get the yard work done this morning .. speaking of yard work, I am outside working in the side yard when all of sudden I hear Christmas music. I look up to see my son on the front porch with a big grin on his face. Behind him is his CD player with Polar Express sound track blasting away! Yup he is my son! LOL
Got banana bead baking in the oven while enjoying a cup of pumpkin spice coffee. Nice breeze through out the house!! I love this time of the year! Time from now until New Years can go at snails pace and I will be very happy

I can believe that ... one of our local post offices has an employee who wouldn't be tolerated anywhere else because of his sheer rudeness. It's so difficult to deal with him on the simplest transactions. He sighs and rolls his eyes and just wants to make everything as difficult and unpleasant as it can be. None of the other employees can stand him, either. He's been there for years, and doesn't look like going anywhere else soon. We call him the Postal Nazi.
Its unfortunate sometimes because the supervisors of employees dont have the power to do anything to workers. Here is a ex. I know 1st hand. (Sorry but its a male/female example, but you will get what I am explaining here.)
