What a busy day! Didn't get much packing for vacation done because my sweet little girl decided to unpack it for me. I will just have to try again after work tomorrow

You know a hurricane is big when Arizona is getting it! But on the upside, three days of lovely winter looking weather, and i get to break out my new jacket a few months early. (though i guarantee it will be back in the closet by next week.)

Just another quick run through of the posts tonight. I am not feeling right the last few days, I am just incredibly fatigued. I get home and nap, can barely stay awake after that. I plan on going to work tomorrow, hoping I will feel more energetic. I may have to call my Dr on Thursday.

Love the leaf garland! So festive! Here's a pic of it in different colors.

Yes, that website does have crochet patterns too, but I didn't get a chance to go through them. Yet!

I made one last year, but this year I found a 6-foot fall leaves garland at Christmas Tree Shop for $3.99, so I got that. I "folded" it and hung it on the wall next to my desk, and it looks so autumn-festive!

Merry Wednesday.

Back to school today for us. It's my youngest's first day of school. I can't believe it. It's such a big milestone. He was so brave and excited. I teared up but he just happily waved me good bye LOL. It seems like just yesterday he started nursery last September. They will be doing half days (like nursery) for this week to help them settle in and full days begin next week.

Thank you for the well wishes for Miley. The vet says it's an allergy so she should be fine.

Well I better get some stuff done before I pick up the kids.

Good luck to the boys on their first day of school! That is nice your youngest can ease into the school year by starting with half days. Hope he loves it!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! First Pines of the 'Bers! Driving to work today took me an extra 15 minutes because it's the first day of school. I don't mind. I love seeing the kids walking to school with their parents. Can you guys believe we're already 1 week into September? To me, at least it seems it's slowed a little from the summer. I am looking forward to the NFL tomorrow. Everything is exciting this time of year! No wonder we love these months the most!

Happy Pines! Dreary day here today but it is supposed to warm up to the 80s. Andre vomited last night and this morning he is not eating. He is acting fine so he must just have an upset stomach. I think I will try to make him some chicken and rice and see if that helps him.

Here, it's the first full week of school ... college is in session ... AND they're doing road construction near my office. So that adds about 20 minutes to the commute. It's not so bad when I listen to an audiobook or some old-time radio on the way to work. This morning I listened to a big hunk of "A Christmas Carol," read by Tom Baker.

Warm yesterday, but without the oven-like impact we experienced late last month.
No rain in the forecast for a while but the heat should be gradually increasing for the next few days.
We are at 72 degrees here, currently.

Carl wishes it to be announced that tonight's open house will be very special, with the theme of "Feel the 'Bers".
(Uh, huh. I get it.)
There will be a pre-fall theme complete with appropriate decorations to get us in the mood for Autumn (which, of course, will be upon us two weeks from tomorrow).

Happy Wednesday everyone! Mid-week and it didn't take much effort at all. We have a high heat warning for today. I love extreme cold advisories but am not a fan of the high heat ones. I hope you all have an awesome pine day!

Well put MerryCarey. I trust your day is going well. Halloween is up and running at Wal-Mart. I have decided to help out at our local "Zoo Boo" running the 28th - 30th of October. I found a great wizard's hat that has glowing eyes and a mouth that moves when you hit a button. Now to find a wizard style robe and beard to go with it. Here is a picture of the hat...
