Hooray for your day off! Take good care of yourself.Good evening,
I have made it to my day off, today seemed to last forever.
I am feeling better today, still feeling quite rundown, but I did have more energy.
I am hoping to sleep in tomorrow.
Goodnight, everyone
I hope it never comes to that! But I have seen them as close as the yard across the street. A few years ago, one flew across the road in front of my car. Seeing a turkey fly is pretty bizarre!Hard to imagine seeing wild turkeys running around. I have seen pics my brother sent, but I've never seen one! Get that water hose ready!![]()
Thanks, I did! We recorded most of it. It's being broadcast again Sunday, I think, so we can record the whole thing. I really enjoyed "Donde Esta Santa Claus" and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." And their medley of carols. In the first part of the show, they did a killer 1950s medley.Hope you enjoyed it!!![]()
Turkeys will walk/run 5 miles before they will fly 100 yards..lolI hope it never comes to that! But I have seen them as close as the yard across the street. A few years ago, one flew across the road in front of my car. Seeing a turkey fly is pretty bizarre!
This reminded me of the time I was on my way home carrying at least 10 bags of Christmas shopping and a very large turkey. The streets were busy with people everywhere and I could barely see. Someone bumped into me and I tripped and fell. The turkey flew into the air, landed in the street and rolled through traffic!!!!!!!!!I hope it never comes to that! But I have seen them as close as the yard across the street. A few years ago, one flew across the road in front of my car. Seeing a turkey fly is pretty bizarre!
So the one I saw must have hit his 5-mile mark!Turkeys will walk/run 5 miles before they will fly 100 yards..lol
Oh, no! What a feeling, to watch your dinner fly away into traffic! This reminded me of the time I was on my way home carrying at least 10 bags of Christmas shopping and a very large turkey. Ohhh the humiliation.
Sending prayers, hugs, tea, shortbread and ear plugs. Hang in there.I'll just say Happy Thursday! now and back out.
I'm in a bad mood because of local road construction and a co-worker with attitude ... and Mr. He has a rough day ahead; he's attending the wake of a longtime co-worker who passed away suddenly last weekend at the tender age of 38.
Sorry to hear it is starting off so badly for you. I pray the day turns around.I'll just say Happy Thursday! now and back out.

Very, very festive. A great choice.Good Morning, Christmas Friends!
Over the weekend I went ahead and bought some mums while I was at the grocery store. This is what they look like this morning. I do NOT feel like I "jumped the gun" on fall. I feel that I have more time to enjoy mums!! It's time to get out the Fall decorations!
Have a great day, Everyone!

A pioneer woman to be sure...Oh don't worry. I went after it ( a whole other level of humiliation) It was Christmas Eve and I wasn't going to get another turkey anywhere!
I have to say that was the most tender turkey I ever ate.
Lol!! Wish I had a dollar for every mile I have walked hunting those birds. You scare em and they will fly, but their preference is to walk or run. Takes alot of energy to get that body in the air!So the one I saw must have hit his 5-mile mark!
I wasn't quite sure what that bowling ball with wings was until it had passed.
