I'll just say Happy Thursday! now and back out.
I'm in a bad mood because of local road construction and a co-worker with attitude ... and Mr. has a rough day ahead; he's attending the wake of a longtime co-worker who passed away suddenly last weekend at the tender age of 38.

Ugh.....sorry you had a such a rough ride into work.
Sorry to hear about your husband's co-worker...that is so sad.

Good Morning, Christmas Friends!
Over the weekend I went ahead and bought some mums while I was at the grocery store. This is what they look like this morning. I do NOT feel like I "jumped the gun" on fall. I feel that I have more time to enjoy mums!! It's time to get out the Fall decorations!

Happy Thursday!
I woke up with a migraine today so I'm moving slow. I need to head out at some point to run a couple of errands. I also have to get a birthday gift for my nephew, the party is this weekend. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. And I want to squeeze a workout in if feel up to it, might have to force myself to do that! That's about it for me.

I plan to sleep in, read, watch tv, etc. I may go out to lunch with Adi & one of our friends who is passing through, but playing that by ear. I want this to be a quiet time at home, as the next months have something going on every weekend. Fun stuff, but I'm tired just thinking about it!

Sounds like a perfect day off. I am thinking of doing this one day next month just to relax and re-group!

He's still only 9lbs. Hasn't really gained much since we got him. I have a feeling he'll be between 12-14lbs at most. He's not huge on eating like Nitro was.

What a little peanut! Leo is a moose...he is 32lbs. Granted he is carrying a little extra winter weight from last year...lol but he is on the bigger side and he LOVES to eat!.

Wow that's big for a BT right? I think our Vet said they usually are 10-25LBS depending. Nitro was usually 17-18LBS in that range. I doubt Rollins will get past 15LBS if that.

Hard to imagine seeing wild turkeys running around. I have seen pics my brother sent, but I've never seen one! Get that water hose ready!

We have lots of them until hunting season. Then they seem to go into hiding. Grilled wild turkey breast is hard to beat.

So after looking up that "Ham" scene from Christmas With The Kranks" earlier, I have started reading "Skipping Chrismtas" again (at lunch.) Funny how once you see the movie you can never read the book the same again. I keep picturing Luther as Tim Allen & Nora as Jamie Lee Curtis in my brain. I know I never did that the 1st time I read the book! LOL

I remember when those big canned hams were the 'rage'! They reminded me of a huge can of Spam.

I dont know what ever happened to them in the stores. You can find small cans, but those holiday sized I havent seen in years. Its funny because they actually werent that bad tasting.

Afternoon/Evening all,

Hope you are all having a good day. Just finished dinner. I made an autumn inspired dish of creamy pasta with butternut squash, Parmesan, Sage, Cheddar, crispy bacon strips and toasted walnuts. I served it with stuffed mushrooms and a salad. Kids loved it.

Can't believe tomorrow is friday! I put out some of my autumn/halloween lemax pieces today. I have some free time from midday tomorrow so I hope to continue with that ready for weekend

Awe (((Leo))) So cute!
Gracie has been overweight since she went on the steroid last year...she was up to almost 50 lbs & most females top off around 35-40. But we cut her steroid down to every other day & she has definitely lost - doesn't eat as much. I'm guessing she's around 40 lb now.

Got home about an hour ago and now that I am about caught up with all you serious Santa servants, I can take this moment for greeting all the MMC people out there.
The NFL begins tonight, which means I need to get to bed a little earlier so I can watch it before I head off to work.
It is a cool 58 degrees currently and only suppose to hit the lower 70's by the afternoon. Hopefully the A/C is done for the year. Found a really nice fireplace DVD with Christmas music playing. It is a peaceful way to fall to sleep. I hope everyone is well.
