Yes, there is swelling there so it's a problem. And she does have an infection, so this definitely is a step in the right direction. Just hope it's the cause of what's troubling her so much, and she can get pain relief.

Yeah I hate taking pics myself...I always think I look bad in them. It's tough to be photogenic but those are really nice pics of you guys. Maybe...I'll have to ask him if he's a runner some time. He's a sports fan so that's a plus!

Thank you! We did. It's always a let down to come home. My daughter was so sad that we had to leave her Great grandma and Poppy. Even though they live only an hour and a half away we don't get to visit as often as we like to. We probably won't be up there again until after Thanksgiving or Christmas. They will come down for her birthday though which is nice. Just made me sad seeing her so sad

They also prescribed some antibiotic ointment for the skin irritations, as there is an infection present. I am going to buy her a vet recommended dog shirt for anti-itching and anti-licking, so she doesn't have to wear the cone of shame. (She never does well with them, gets quite depressed. And I'm sure they are uncomfortable, as well!)
