Hopefully it's just a matter of time for the meds to start working and improvement happens by the end of today.

My youngest is doing so well at settling into school life. Me not so much :)

Feels like one day I'm holding his hand teaching him to walk and then suddenly those little feet are running away from me and he's waving me goodbye every morning. When and how did he get so big?

Anyway ...must get some work done . Have a day great all.

Glad that your youngest is doing well with school. I could not have children so I can only imagine how it feels seeing him off for the first time, that bittersweet feeling. Enjoy the beautiful weather and have a great day.

We're all hoping for pain relief for little Harlowe. Hard to stop a dog from jumping on things even when they're in pain, they're stubborn that way. Hope her condition improves as the day goes on. Will Adrian be home to keep an eye on her? Stay positive, sending good thoughts your way and hugs from Loki and me.

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !!

We are having a nice hot summers last hooray week here. Since fall officially arrives on Thursday we will enjoy this. It is nice and cool in the evenings so the heat is not so bad as it was in the summer.
Only work 5 hours today which is good because I have to finish a cake for the fall fair that is due tomorrow.
Well back to work, I want to get apple in the dehydrator before I leave.

Like Christmas, Milestones are either here or on the way.

Days to Christmas Day: 96

And speaking of Milestones (and we always do) let's take a peek down the road for a heads-up on the next one.
Well, it is in fact the THREE-QUARTERS MARK to Christmas Day and it stands a mere FIVE days into the future.
(Hey. These markers are starting to get away from us!)


Well, the humidity is definintely back. Fortunately, however, the temperatures are not too high. Had a bit of precipitation yesterday.
We are standing just over 71 degrees at this hour here in the heart of central North Carolina and it looks like rain.

Yes, I had hoped we could always open the thread that way like in years past but unfortunately, "A Christmas To Remember" just can't get to Crabtree that soon anymore.
(And we sure don't want to wait until after Halloween to open it, do we!)

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! 2nd day of the week. The alarm woke me up this morning (usually I wake up before it). I guess that I was a little tired. Monday though I felt fine and actually energetic. Go figure. I'm good now though with some coffee. Foggy here this morning is the word. It's mild & humid. The cool autumn weather still is on pace to arrive this weekend. Looking forward to that but right now just looking forward to today.
