I'm sorry your plans had to change, but it's good that the doc can see you today. You wouldn't want to go into the weekend becoming more miserable without a chance of seeing him.

Thank you! Well, we were. Ahh, I digress.

Your weekend plans sound nice! Have a great time!

I was going to spend the weekend with my cousin, who was coming into town from Minneapolis. But, something came up with her kids and she cancelled. Which ends up working out good, because Har and I both have relapsed some. I'm still waiting to hear back from her vets.
My Mom, a retired RN, (and some friends) encouraged me to schedule an appointment with my doctor for next week to play it safe. Well, I called this morning and they put me through to a triage nurse, who asked me a ton of questions, and then said I needed to be seen within 12 hours. So, I have an appointment this afternoon-quickest I've ever gotten in at this office, sheesh.
So, we will be resting, possibly seeing Har's vets, and watching some Fall and Halloween shows!

Ah so sorry to hear that Snowflake. I thought of you this morning actually and made a mental note to ask you how you were feeling. It's a good idea to go to the Dr. I am glad you will be seen today. Atleast you will have a couple days to rest. Also sorry to hear Har isn't progressing how she should be. Hoep you can get into the vet too. Take care of yourself. Prayers and thoughts.

Carolina did more playing so hopefully she will be tired out tonight. We didnot have enough to rake just yet so we picked up by hand today. My dad said he would make her a big leaf pile when more start to fall

She seemed a bit off this morning and had an accident in the house, and she already goes out every 3 hours. So that is very unusual. And it can be a symptom of spinal problems / IVDD as they progress, but I'm hoping and praying it's a simple UTI. That would surprise me as she's doing great on the holistic supplements we've been giving her-haven't seen any amount of incontinence at all for the past 5 weeks.

I'm sending positive thoughts your way and hoping that little Harlowe can see a vet soon. And she seemed to be doing better too and resting. Hugs from Loki and me.

TGIF!! Happy Friday. Just working today and my daughter has a soccer game at 4. Tomorrow night we are having a little festival in our town and they have fireworks so I may take my youngest daughter, we'll see. I took Monday off with my husband. It is our anniversary on Sunday so we are going to go out to lunch and maybe go to a local winery. Hope you all have a great day! October will be here before you know it..I am hoping it goes by slowly!

My appointment is in a few hours. Fingers crossed.

I just spoke to one of her vets, and she said she's not too concerned that the accident was related to IVDD (spinal/disc disease). If her legs weren't working-giving out or dragging, then she'd say bring her in ASAP. She just said to keep an eye on her, and if it happens again and she seems fine otherwise, bring in a urine sample for testing.
If she seems to regress with her back, then she'd want another appointment & possibly a mild sedative to keep her contained.
