My appointment is in a few hours. Fingers crossed.

I just spoke to one of her vets, and she said she's not too concerned that the accident was related to IVDD (spinal/disc disease). If her legs weren't working-giving out or dragging, then she'd say bring her in ASAP. She just said to keep an eye on her, and if it happens again and she seems fine otherwise, bring in a urine sample for testing.
If she seems to regress with her back, then she'd want another appointment & possibly a mild sedative to keep her contained.

I hope having her mum home with her for the next couple of days is all she needs to move forward in her recovery.
 
Friday! A very busy weekend ahead...cleaning and organizing and shuffling items between rooms as we transition our mattress to the guest room and get rid of our old guest room mattress because our brand new foam mattress is coming tomorrow!!! Running 8 miles tomorrow for the first time with the Half Marathon training team, lunch with my sister, helping teach marching band for a few hours, husband's family comes over for lunch Sunday afternoon after I work for a few hours, and husband turns the big 3-0 Monday, and we're having a dinner! PHEW. Supposedly I'll rest somewhere in there...my coworker was gone this entire week too so I worked every day rather than just three. I think I'm ready for next weekend... :)

Ooops, I would not want it to be the first day of Spring of either year. Spring means more heat.
Thanks for the correction. That is what happens when high school students destroy your brain power! lol

Anyway, the new laptop is great. I finally have most of my files and programs back up and running.

They are calling for cooler temperatures next week so that is something to be excited about. I was outside mowing the grass yesterday evening while listening to Christmas music to try to stay cool.

Thank you Holiday! Maggie and I did pretty well last night, she slept straight through until 4:00am. That was good for her. I don't have too much planned this weekend. There is a craft fair on Sunday that I'm really looking forward to, I hope to pick up some new decorations. They always have lots of Christmas decor as well as Autumn. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
