Thanks! We had a lot of sunshine in the summer and through September so we can't complain too much. We do need some rain!

Sounds like a fun day. Riley (our multipo) is currently snoring on the pile of blankets and a comforter I put together near my desk. So what is the deal with them always having to rake them up? You would think their slumber on a collection of lumps and wrinkles to be less than comfortable.
Since I have to work again tonight, it will be Chicago style hotdogs and chips for tonight. Have a great day.

I just looked up our weather forecast. We're not due to see sunshine again until Tuesday! Oh, well, the time has come to pay for our sunny, dry summer. It'll be a good time for comfort food and warm beverages.

We have the same forecast! Might as well enjoy the comfort food & warm beverages!
And hey - guess what?! My Christmas cactus is about to bloom again. What the heck?!

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Today I will organize all the fall clothes Carolina has so far and then start figuring out my October thru New Years to do list. It will be a few very busy months for us as Carolinas birthday is in October and several events from November right on thru Christmas. I have work tonight so I'm hoping to get a lot done before then

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

We've had lots of bosses from corporate, and managers from other plants here this week. It's an annual visit for meetings, and it's our turn. We had a big lunch yesterday, then out for steaks at dinner last night. Today will be another big lunch, too. I'll never lose weight at this rate!

Well, there are about three boxes of gingerbread mix in the house ... !
This sort of weather is enjoyable when I'm at home, but during the commute, and all day at the office, it's just plain gray and gloomy. One bright spot: I do have some Cinnamon Stick tea and vanilla sugar in my desk drawer.

I am with you on that. When everyone is safe and sound at home, I don't mind rainy days at all.

Maybe it's decided to become a Halloween cactus? I hope you'll post pix when it blooms.

Mine has been growing all summer and is still putting out new leaf segments! She'll soon have to start thinking about putting that energy into producing buds and blossoms. If she does, she'll be a beauty this season! I need to trim her back on one side that sticks out, but I've been afraid to do it while she's in grow-mode. I don't want to upset her this time of year!
