Good morning MMC! New models out suggest we're not going to get hit by Hurricane Matthew, which would be wonderful. I hope that's the case, even as I pray for all affected! I'm off to work, then to run, then to church today. It's going to be a busy one! Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! 50 days from today is Thanksgiving in the U.S. That blows my mind. It's a beautiful day out here (finally). Looks like we are in for some beautiful weather the rest of the week. Might get some rain on the weekend unfortunately. But it looks like that hurricane is going to affect the southeast mostly and then hopefully head out to sea.

Thank you Ryan! She has been doing so, so good (knocking on wood) it's hard to imagine there is something wrong. I guess we'll find out more after her next round of testing!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It looks like that crazy hurricane is going to get pretty close to us, so I'll have to spend this evening putting away patio furniture and getting the grass cut. If we get that wet, it'll be days before the yard dries enough for cutting, given our humidity. And my yard already looks like a tropical rain forest.

Merry Pines Day!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 70 degrees. Woke up feeling pretty tired and headachey this morning. There's not too much going on so I'll probably be able to take it easy. I just have to work on the laundry and I'll take Maggie for a couple of short walks. I may start working on my Thanksgiving and Christmas menu plan as well. That's about it.

Good Morning HMG. I trust your headache will soon pass and taking it easy now and then can be just the right cure. My Thanksgiving menu is always up in the air, since it seems that everyone wants something different. I think last year we had 3 pounds of ham, a smoked turkey breast and then a small stuffed turkey. Sure keeps the kitchen warm...

Thank you all! It's hard to imagine there is anything wrong. She's so happy & crazy! I'm taking her in Friday morning at 8am. We could have waited til next week but I didn't want to have to worry about having to take her next week, all weekend. Makes me nervous!
I really appreciate all the thoughts & prayers for my sweet girl!

Thank you! I go to have the wound checked out today on the way to work and then stitches out in a week. It doesn't look as bad as it did but I plan on keeping it splinted and fully covered until the stitches are out
