It will! :)
Today was 3:15 for me. I can't wait until Adrian is back & we get a full staff again~
Poor Jim! It stinks!!
That is VERY early!! I sure hope they hire the 3 people you are missing, very soon!! That's a lot for you 2 to take over!! xx
Good news for Jim is that when he goes in that early, he's done by 9am - he's got the rest of the day free. Although right now, he's farming! ;)

Alright all my MMC friends. Last night went well, some heavy lifting, but at least I can still do it... lol. The weather is cooling down and we may see some morning frost in the next day or two. A short work week for me, as I am headed down to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha on Saturday morning with the other Volunteers from our zoo here in Sioux Falls. So, I am also taking off Friday in order to be awake for the trip... ;)
My better half (Connie) will be joining me, she loves the inside aquarium and jungle.

Here is a shot of each. Of course there is much more and I'm sure we will pick someplace nice to dine later.
Now it is time to fill my face a bit and then get ready for the sandman to make his visit.

Have you seen the previews for "The Girl On the Train" I watched the trailer - it looks suspenseful, but doesn't tell much about the movie. I'll have to read what the book is about I guess! ;)
We are going to see "Sully" tonight. It's the last night for it at our theater - Girl On The Train starts tomorrow.
I so want to see The Girl on the Train, it looks very intriguing.

Thanks for the hugs!
Aww, hugs for Gracie too <3
Ha ha! If Gracie had been there, I could have given them both some, and Har would've eaten for sure :D
It will be a nice morning tomorrow! I'm excited not to have to rush off anywhere, just take my time and relax =]
Enjoy your beautiful, war, autumn day!
Today is our last taste of warmth, (although when I woke up it was 40 degrees!)the high is 70 degrees.
Big change in temps when rain moves in tonight, we will have an overnight low in the 30's and a high of 53 tomorrow! Wowza!
Have an awesome day!!

My niece is getting married this weekend. It's an outdoor ceremony. They're having blankets there that people can borrow to keep warm. I have a feeling that there's going to be a mad dash to the reception!

Thanks, me too!!;):D

That is nice for Jim!

Bless his heart, hope he has a productive day!

Thank you for the good thoughts & hugs!
The vet thinks she has a protein losing disease PLE &/or PLN. There is an expensive test that can be done in Pennsylvania & down south somewhere (I think) - there are only 2 places in the US that test for it. Anyway - regardless if she has it or not, the treatment is the same as what they are doing for her now to keep her kidneys functioning properly, so we have not had the test done. We have some doubts that she actually has that disease - after she became sick was after last years VERY rainy summer when she was constantly in the water/mud at the lake & shortly after the lake warnings came out of high toxin levels & danger for dogs. SO we still feel she got into something at the lake. Also, this is a hereditary disease & our breeder swears none of his dogs or puppies have ever had this. We also know other people who have Wheaten's from this breeder with no problems what so ever. And other thing, dogs are normally not diagnosed with this disease until they are 4-6 years old - Gracie was only 1 1/2. So we'll see how this plays out. Praying for the best! :)
Thank you for the information, I just read up on PLE. Really hopeful that further tests will be ok and that the medication keeps Gracie as active and as sweet as she is now. Give her a hug from Loki and me.

Good morning Martine. Guess what? I was up at that time too. Of course I was at work. My day will be spent catching up on some much needed rest. Things always pick up with holiday items arriving by the pallet load.
I love what you are doing for others. I usually start gathering right after Christmas and also for some of the people I know at work who might have "not as merry" a Christmas. My wife and I pick out a few and make up stockings that we hand out, letting them know that a jolly fellow in a red suit asked if we could help him deliver a few items early, due to the busy time he is involved in. I'd enjoy it even more if they did not know who it came from, but so far, I have not figured out a way.
Have a fun day and take some time to catch a break or you might end up looking like this... lol

LOL I often feel like that image!

What a beautiful thing you do with your wife to brighten the lives of those less fortunate around the Holidays. Enjoy your day's rest CGYager.

Oh yeah he was happy to see me. He know my car beep so when I beep it he runs to the front door and waits for me to come in then starts jumping on me.
Thanks!
There is nothing like a dog greeting you at the door, all excited. It's pure joy. Loki often lets out a bark when he hears my car locking, letting David know I'm home.

Wow that looks like an awesome place to visit!

Congratulations to your niece. Where is the ceremony? It sure is a gamble to have an outdoor event at this time of the year but looks like they thought of everything to keep people warm just in case.
