In a few more weeks it will be even colder!

That's why I love summer...but it's not so bad. We just have to get used to it. It's still nice out during the day and the sun feels pretty good! Plus I do want it to get colder for Christmas this year. Hoping!

Well, sweet kitty Winston crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday afternoon after a day lounging in the sun on the back porch with my dad. I miss him so much already. Thank you for all your support. You are wonderfully supportive!

I hope you all have a good Tuesday-a normal one here for me. I am enjoying the wonderful fall weather and am waiting anxiously for the trees to turn. Looking forward to sharing it all together.

So sorry to hear of your loss. At least he had a peaceful day lounging in the sun with good company before he left you.

Morning ... well thankfully none of the outside Halloween decorations got damaged in the wind just missing 2 small stakes for the inflatables but we have spares so no biggie. I was able to untangle everything and get them back into their spots although I may have to reconsider the current placement incase we get more wind. I don't want a repeat so may have to do some rearranging this weekend.

Think I am going to start working on the main floor hall closet and get the winter hats/gloves/scarves organized. Still have stuff in boxes from when we moved in last year. I am pretty sure I can get rid of some of them and pass the ones that are to small down to nieces/nephews in the family.

Good morning. Happy to hear that you had no damage from the storm. We get some nice wind going through the plains and I usually add an extra line or two when I set up my inflatables as well. I guess it is that time to see what we might need (or get rid of) in respect to winter garb. Nice to be able to pass things along and keep replacement costs down.

Good morning everyone. Well, Henry is still running his fever, but is not feeling too bad. So we are just hanging out and listening to some Halloween music, and then Christmas music.

Nathan, my oldest, takes his driving test today!
He is worried about the maneuverability portion of the test.

Well, Henry says it is time for some Christmas music, so I suppose Kringle Radio is about to blast through the house.

I hate that their plans had to change. They're not letting people into Savannah right now. They changed the direction of the eastbound lane of I-16 to westbound, and you have to have authorization to enter Savannah.

A local girl who was in a car accident is in the hospital in Savannah. Her grandmother told me last night that she's going to see her today, and she'll have to stay through the storm in the hospital. Crazy!

Awww what a sweet girl, going to the vet like a champ. Loki literally trembles when we go to the vet and he wants to be held non-stop. But the minute we're done he goes nuts. Did they tell you how long you have to wait for the test results? Here's hoping for positive results. Have a great 3-day weekend Holiday

Gracie doesn't mind going to the vet. She runs right in there - can't get in fast enough. LOL! Goofy girl!

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!
Yesterday, I totally trashed my kitchen. I made a loaf of zucchini bread and some homemade refried beans to go with dinner. I was in the kitchen for a good part of the day and evening making everything and then cleaning up. Why does it have to take so darn long to make good food (and clean it up), but the eating part is done in the blink of an eye? I am backing away from the kitchen today.

Well I ended up back at the fall festival this morning. I still didn't buy myself anything but I got Ella a Halloween outfit that she promptly destroyed and a Christmas dress that she tried to get off but couldn't.

It's our anniversary weekend! We're thinking of driving up to Vermont tomorrow just to spend a pleasant day.
