My family messed up on that one. My b - day is January 13th, my brother's is the 14th, and our father's is the 16th. MLK had dibs on the 15th, but there wasn't a holiday, yet. This is not a better luck next time scenario...I found the perfect solution. I had the foresight to insist on being born on a national holiday.
I hope you & Henry are having a good day off - even though he's not feeling 100% - I'm glad he's not feeling TOO bad. Hope his fever breaks soon! xxGood morning everyone. Well, Henry is still running his fever, but is not feeling too bad. So we are just hanging out and listening to some Halloween music, and then Christmas music.
Nathan, my oldest, takes his driving test today!
He is worried about the maneuverability portion of the test.
Well, Henry says it is time for some Christmas music, so I suppose Kringle Radio is about to blast through the house.

Yesterday, I totally trashed my kitchen. I made a loaf of zucchini bread and some homemade refried beans to go with dinner. I was in the kitchen for a good part of the day and evening making everything and then cleaning up. Why does it have to take so darn long to make good food (and clean it up), but the eating part is done in the blink of an eye? I am backing away from the kitchen today.

Brrrrr! Hope you are staying warm! We turned the heat on at the trailer at the lake this weekend too. AC is still on at home though.
What a bummer about the leaves. I don't think we are going to get to enjoy much color here either this year.
