Hello all! Wanted to share my fun evening with everyone. We ended up at Walmart and checked out their Christmas Shop. Ended up buying 6 CD's of our favorite artists to put on our phones (seems cheaper than buying the albums on iTunes). Been using Pandora for the car, but that uses data. The one artist we did not find was the Carpenters. My mom really only likes the original Christmas Portrait, and there was only one on eBay! Picked that up, so we have a great collection for the season now. At least to hold us over until it all starts on the radio.

Great finds!! You know the Carpenters is surprisingly one Christmas album I don't have. I should look into that!

Good morning MMC!!! Merry Tuesday! We made it through Monday!!! It's another beautiful day here - very warm & very windy!
My Gracie girl ate last night - twice & she ate half her food this morning, so hopefully with her eating that will help with her tummy not getting upset from the meds. Fingers crossed! xx (now to get her to eat EVERY time before she takes meds...sheesh) LOL

Good Morning Festive. Sounds like your Tuesday was my Monday. Things went well, right up until around 8PM. Then all of us, having started the day so early, felt the sandman doing his thing. In short... we made it halfway through the King & I and called it a night. When the sun rises a bit more, I'll take down the "Hollywood" decor and return the living room into... the living room.

Don't feel bad about that ... you'll see "Part 2" before long!

Way back in the 1970s, when the networks did "[day of the week] Night at the Movies," they would occasionally show an extra-long movie, like "Around the World in 80 Days," over TWO evenings. You have kind of a throwback thing going there!

Happy Tuesday!
It's going to be another warm and sunny day, with a high of 77 degrees. Not too much going on here, I have to do some food shopping this morning. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry and some other chores around the house. I still didn't finish my Thanksgiving and Christmas menu plans yet, I would love to get to that today. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Enjoy the warm & sunny day!! I keep saying these days are numbered...and then all the sudden there are 80º days in the forecast again. BUT after tomorrow I don't see any 70º days in the 15 day forecast...subject to change.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! I enjoyed my 3 day weekend. Apparently Rollins did because yesterday he was just non-stop wanting to play and get into things. We had fun though and I enjoyed IHOP and a couple of errands I got done. Also got some homework done so less to do after work during this week. I try to be productive even on days off. Now back to work for 4 days. Definitely makes the week seem a little less long. I know Brad is looking forward to Sunday...The Walking Dead returns with the biggest episode ever. We are going to my Uncle's then for our usual every other month or so dinner/show. Should be fun.
Have a great Tuesday this October day (that feels more like August)!

Good Morning, Holiday Approachers.

And our approach to the holiday season is rapid indeed.
Just look at these numbers:
Days to Halloween: 13 (Now UNDER 2 weeks!)
Days to the Season: 26 (Approaching 3 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 68 (Two months and a week to go!)
(Is anyone beginning to think the count just might be starting to get away from us??)


Splendid weather here for mid October. Hope it continues for a while but we are used to things changing quickly around here whenever we enter a nice stretch, and in fact it's supposed to get rather warm over the next 2-3 days.
(Perhaps a parting shot from Summer!)
Right now, we perceive 65 degrees on our back door thermometer under clear and calm skies.
