Christmas Countdown - 2016

I've been to TWO Walmarts in TWO days to check out the Christmas sections... do I have an issue?

NOPE!

I had one that did all year countdown but it fizzled out. They seem to be hard to find, I found alot of them that will do 99 day to 0. I have a friend thats a electronics guru and he is going to make me one that has 365 day countdown but also displays a picture each day. All for the sum of a brisket dinner..lol. Take me a week to load 365 pics into the thing.

How awesome!!! And a brisket dinner too. YUM

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

My computer is gone, taken by eldest who recently lost her job. her computer died and she needed to job search. So I am using this old thing that needs a key board plugged in so I can talk to you. Thankful to still have this one hanging around.
Hope you are all doing well and survived Monday.
Do not have to be at work till 10am today so making pancakes for breakfast. I laughed on Sunday in church when pastor announced how many days til Christmas !

Good morning MMC!!! Merry Tuesday! We made it through Monday!!! It's another beautiful day here - very warm & very windy!
My Gracie girl ate last night - twice & she ate half her food this morning, so hopefully with her eating that will help with her tummy not getting upset from the meds. Fingers crossed! xx (now to get her to eat EVERY time before she takes meds...sheesh) LOL

I read yesterday the John Lewis should premier on Nov 04th! It's a big one over here.

Good Morning, Holiday Approachers.

And our approach to the holiday season is rapid indeed.
Just look at these numbers:
Days to Halloween: 13 (Now UNDER 2 weeks!)
Days to the Season: 26 (Approaching 3 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 68 (Two months and a week to go!)
(Is anyone beginning to think the count just might be starting to get away from us??)


Splendid weather here for mid October. Hope it continues for a while but we are used to things changing quickly around here whenever we enter a nice stretch, and in fact it's supposed to get rather warm over the next 2-3 days.
(Perhaps a parting shot from Summer!)
Right now, we perceive 65 degrees on our back door thermometer under clear and calm skies.

I got their mail-order catalog last week, and got the Vermont Country Store's "wish book" in the mail yesterday. Closer and closer!

forgot to mention this crazy weather we are having. Going up to 31c (87f) today !! so insane for up here this time of the year.

Awe - thanks for sharing. I haven't seen it yet!! I started seeing the commercials for Balsam Hill last week though - seems like that was later than normal, but I always enjoy them!

It's also awesome to see the actual previews for the wonderful movies of Christmas!

Hello all! Wanted to share my fun evening with everyone. We ended up at Walmart and checked out their Christmas Shop. Ended up buying 6 CD's of our favorite artists to put on our phones (seems cheaper than buying the albums on iTunes). Been using Pandora for the car, but that uses data. The one artist we did not find was the Carpenters. My mom really only likes the original Christmas Portrait, and there was only one on eBay! Picked that up, so we have a great collection for the season now. At least to hold us over until it all starts on the radio.

Happy Tuesday!
It's going to be another warm and sunny day, with a high of 77 degrees. Not too much going on here, I have to do some food shopping this morning. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry and some other chores around the house. I still didn't finish my Thanksgiving and Christmas menu plans yet, I would love to get to that today. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! I enjoyed my 3 day weekend. Apparently Rollins did because yesterday he was just non-stop wanting to play and get into things. We had fun though and I enjoyed IHOP and a couple of errands I got done. Also got some homework done so less to do after work during this week. I try to be productive even on days off. Now back to work for 4 days. Definitely makes the week seem a little less long. I know Brad is looking forward to Sunday...The Walking Dead returns with the biggest episode ever. We are going to my Uncle's then for our usual every other month or so dinner/show. Should be fun.
Have a great Tuesday this October day (that feels more like August)!
