I've been seeing this gem for about a week, now
Love it! Christmas magic!

Love love love this commercial! Haven't seen any Christmas advert here so far, except for some random Christmas music in a local commercial.

He did this thing last night where he went in "crazy mode." He started running 100MPH from one room to the next back and forth nonstop as if he was a race car going on a track. We just stood there looking not moving a step cause if we did we may have gotten run over...he was on a very specific track.

That must have been quite a sight, too funny!

Yeah last night after about 6 hours of nonstop playing, running, going around he jumped on the couch next to me and curled his back against me to use me as his personal pillow out of nowhere. When I tell him it's time to go to sleep he doesn't listen...when he feels like it then he does.

We're lucky that when we're in the living room about to head to the bedroom, Loki will grab one of his plush toy, wait for us to put him up on the bed (yeah not good I know) and he'll settle down quickly on his pillow. It's like his own nighttime routine or something.

Good Tuesday afternoon, Christmas friends!

I spent the morning in court, supporting our niece who is in a custody fight with her ex for their kids. The judge ruled again in her favor, but it still takes time and money. Grrrr.

I'm sitting here at work now, listening to The Eagles, and trying to decide which project to start on first.

That is too bad about your niece and all this time spent in court. Hopefully the judge keeps ruling in her favour. I have an employee whose daughter is in an international "war" over custody of their newborn baby. Father decided to return to France and has threathened to come with a police order to take the baby back with him. So far all rulings have gone in the daughter's favour. It's always so sad and often gets so ugly. Hope you have had a great day nonetheless.

I agree!
I got home for lunch to no surprises. YAY Gracie! She also ate the rest of her food at lunch, so giving her probiotic was not a problem!
I did talk to the vet & they are getting some canned food ready for us to pick up so if she doesn't want to eat when it's medicine time, we can try to get her to eat some of that! I think that will work much better!

Yay for Gracie eating and, very importantly, keeping it in! Glad to know she seems to be doing better today

Enjoy the warm & sunny day!! I keep saying these days are numbered...and then all the sudden there are 80º days in the forecast again. BUT after tomorrow I don't see any 70º days in the 15 day forecast...subject to change.

Dogs definitely have a lot of routines. I'm a very routine person myself.

Hope everyone has had a great day and will enjoy a nice evening. Work was productive but some things are up in the air and I hate uncertainty. Our social committee decorated the employee lounge for Halloween and it looks awesome, really brightened everyone's mood. I see almost everyone had unseasonably warm weather today. People in shorts and sandals, crazy! Now winds are really picking up, I think a storm is brewing. Now time for some supper and catching up on our dvr.

Bacon and Eggs?

I am just using this kit tonight
It's actually quite good!



When I have more time and all of the ingredients, I like to make this recipe:

Taco Bake

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
8 ounces shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
1 (18 ounce) package corn tortilla chips (I USE FRITOS, SO GOOD !!)

1. 
   
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
3. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain fat. Add the diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, water, sour cream and taco seasoning mix. Let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. In the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish, place a layer of tortilla chips. Cover with a layer of the meat mixture then a layer of cheese. Repeat this process until the last layer is cheese.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.

Good morning MMC!!! Merry Tuesday! We made it through Monday!!! It's another beautiful day here - very warm & very windy!
My Gracie girl ate last night - twice & she ate half her food this morning, so hopefully with her eating that will help with her tummy not getting upset from the meds. Fingers crossed! xx (now to get her to eat EVERY time before she takes meds...sheesh) LOL

Had an intense afternoon of work ... Got out late ... Got stuck in construction traffic for an hour ... Then an unmarked detour ... Then the road was blocked by a car crash ... The when I got home the DVD set that Amazon said was delivered to our mailbox wasn't there ... Then Mr. accidentally spilled a whole box of chicken pieces. This evening HAS to improve at some point ...

The only good thing so far, aside from finally getting home to Mr., is seeing that chat has returned to MMC. Looking forward to chatting with everyone!
