Don't apologize, I'm just sorry that you haven't been feeling well.
Praying for you! Hope you can find relief soon. Sending lots of hugs & love from
Harlowe & I
Please take good care of yourself.
So exciting about your Thanksgiving menu! I'm hungry just thinking about it.
Goodnight, hope you rest peacefully~
Xoxo
Good evening,
All my beautiful snow was gone when I awoke this morning, just dreary rain...
I moved a bunch of cases of turkeys today, the first of many. We condensed 10 pallets of turkeys down to 6.5, got to make room for the next order coming in.
Watching Gremlins now, heading to bed very soon. We are going to Old Sturbridge Village tomorrow night for an outdoor reenactment of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Should be a good time.
Goodnight, everyone
I'll really have to listen to them. Wonderful Christmastime drives me crazy, perhaps they'll make the song "listenable".I'm loving their version of Wonderful Christmastime. Nutcracker is pretty funny!!
I'm very sorry that you are struggling with migraines HMG. I hope your neurologist can find the right meds for you and you get some relief. You are super organized, having already done your Thanksgiving menu. I'm sure it helps take some of the pressure off of the big day. Have a great weekend coming up, hopefully migraine-free.Good evening ~
I'm getting ready to turn in, just wanted to read through the countdown quick. Sorry I haven't been posting too much the past few weeks, I've really been struggling with my migraines and it's just wearing me down. The preventative meds that I started taking weren't agreeing with me so I had to wean off of them. Back to square one. I'll be seeing my neurologist in a couple of weeks, hopefully we'll find something that helps. Anyway, enough of that. Can't believe Halloween is so close, I'm super excited. And I finally finished my menu plan for Thanksgiving, I even wrote out a grocery list. I'll start buying non perishable items a little at a time. So much to look forward to. I hope everyone had a nice day and has a great weekend ahead!
Thoughts and prayers for all ~
Goodnight <3
Sounds like a good day ahead HMG. When decorating for Halloween, one can never have enough jack-o-lanterns I say. What show have you started to get into? Have a great one!Good morning ~
Happy Saturday!
It's going to be windy and partly cloudy with highs near 62 today. Not too much going on, I'm going to do some food shopping this morning. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry and a couple of other chores around the house. I also want to carve another jack o lantern this afternoon, hopefully one of the girls will volunteer to do it with me if they are around. I'm going to make roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy for dinner then my husband & I will catch up with a show we started watching. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful last weekend of October <3

Morning Moonlily. I love Mickey's Christmas Carol as well. In fact, the first time I saw it, I was under a tree, getting it all situated with the skirt. When Jiminy made his comment about Scrooge to which he replied "Well, nobody's perfect." It was so unexpected (being a classic Dickens fan) that I almost knocked over the tree laughing.Mickey's Christmas Carol was the favorite at my house growing up, along with the stop-motion classics like Rudolph and Little Drummer Boy.
But what I think of when I remember those afternoons were the little-known cartoons like O Christmas Tree and The Night Before Christmas (with mice). And Annabelle's Wish. My siblings and I sang the main song from that movie in harmony for many years.
I wish I had been alive during all the Christmas specials with Bing Crosby and others. I just discovered the Best of Andy Williams' Christmas dvd last year and fell in love with it. It's just so innocent and genuine... He and his brothers singing together in bright Christmas sweaters is just not something you see so much these days, unless it's a skit on SNL, you know? It warms my heart and makes me wish I lived back then.
A very good morning to you HMG. Today we have a chance for PM showers, but I doubt that will diminish the festivities at the zoo. Only five hours of it tonight, so I should be back at a decent hour. Last night I called home and both the wife and daughter wanted something different for dinner. So what's a guy to do? Stopped by Arby's and Taco Bell. At least they were on the same street... lolGood morning ~
Happy Saturday!

Greetings Martine. Sounds like a busy day. Not too much for me to do this morning except get a package in the mail. Then the 2nd day of the Zoo Boo this afternoon/evening. Got to remember to take the camera tonight for a few pics.Good Saturday morning! It will be a busy morning of running around to find what we need for hubby and I to finish our Halloween costumes. And he said he wanted to go to a hardware store to look at some Christmas lights. That sure is a first, I usually have to drag him into stores to look at Christmas stuff. We also have some groceries to buy and laundry to do. Hopefully we'll be done by early afternoon so we can just relax and catch up on the dvr. Hope everyone will have a fantastic Saturday!
Happy Halloween Weekend HMG! Have a great Saturday!Good morning ~

Okay to one I know for sure came out today-
If you like the old crooner's you might want to check out Brett Eldredge's new album Glow.
Morning Edge. We had unbelievable weather for the first day of the Zoo Boo... in the lower 70s. I think you are doing far too much blinking... lol. Slow it down and maybe the days will last a little longer.Good Saturday Morning MMC! Happy Halloween Weekend! It's a nicer day today than it's been the last couple and a bit warmer for sure. Not too bad today. Can't believe it's Halloween weekend guys. Seriously now things get crazy...we blink and the Christmas season begins (Nov 13), then we blink and it's Thanksgiving, blink a few more times and we're basically at Christmas Eve/Day, and then New Years. Yikes. We did want to be at this point though and we dream about this all year so now that we're basically there let's enjoy every day. I have a bunch of errands to do today but that's ok because I will make time to get some Halloween fun in.
Have a great Halloween Weekend!
Good Morning/Afternoon Festive. Glad to see you up with us. Looks like you got some extra rest this AM... that's nice. Some of our stations will be going that way, but usually not until the day after Halloween.Another milsetone reached today. Our movie24 channel has switched to all Christmas. I always look forward to coming down the stairs in the quiet of the morning and tuning in to it on the first day of the switch. It's like a secret door has been opened to a magical land
Wishing you all a wonderful merry weekend and a haunting halloween.

Thanks Crown! Happy Halloween Weekend!Good Morning, Folks!
Really closing in now on the start of our "Holiday String", commencing with Halloween on Monday and continuing right on through New Year's Day.
(It truly is "the hap-happiest season of all"!)
Checking on our progress:
Days to Halloween: 2 (DAY AFTER TOMORROW!)
Days to the Season: 15 (Two weeks from tomorrow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 57 (Eight weeks from tomorrow!)
(The excitement is becoming palpable!)
Quite pleasant here yesterday, with highs in the low 70's and no precipitation of any kind.
Should be real nice right on through the weekend and possibly through the entirety of next week.
(Now wouldn't that be nice!!)
It is currently 52 degrees here at our abode.
Our very own Wizard of Edge ("the great and powerful") will be stepping in to handle count duties tomorrow morning, as the Crowns head to the coast to winterize the cottage after another successful (and hurricane damage free!) rental season.
Have a Sensational Saturday and the most Wondrous Weekend of your lives, Dear Friends.
See you back here on Halloween morning!
