Merry Tuesday!

Woke up with a migraine around midnight. Ruined the whole sleep thing for me. Not getting as much done as I would like, but at least feeling human again.

And the sun is shining!

I will work a partial day tomorrow, and then I'm off until next Monday.
We will celebrate at home on Thursday, and then travel to celebrate with my family on Friday, and then travel again to spend it with Adrian's on Saturday. It will be a weekend of lots of food, family, and fun!

WOW!!! Sounds like a very fun filled Thanksgiving weekend to be sure. Connie is doing better and waiting on her return from her regular doctor. She hopes to be back at work by Friday. I will keep you all in my prayers for safe journeys and great moments.

Hi Everyone .. Well over the weekend my youngest asked me a question I was soooo not ready for. He asked me is Santa was Real .. He is ten and the kids at school have been telling him Santa is not real. I asked him what he thought and he said Santa was real so we left it at that but I am sure it will come up again before Christmas.

On the bright side today is my last working day for this week. Tomorrow will be spent baking and prepping for Thanksgiving dinner, a family dinner Friday night and my dad's 75th birthday party Saturday. And in between all that is black Friday shopping and decorating. Looks like the coffee pot will be getting a workout the rest of the week.

In case I do not make it back on before Thursday .. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I heard about this book some years ago ... maybe it would help? It "graduates" children into the secret society that keeps Santa Claus's secrets.

Clean, clean, clean. Prep, prep, prep. Oh and its cold out there!! I feel like cooking my turkey today just to warm up the apartment. I just sprayed the oven down with cleaner though, so that's probably not a good idea. I hope everyone is having a good week!!!

Good Tuesday afternoon, Christmas friends!

We had a great long weekend in the mountains for Elizabeth's birthday! We also took her cousin who is also her best friend. Mom stayed home for our aunt's funeral, and Lulu stayed with her. Jacob is a little too cool to vacation with the 'rents now, so he stayed behind, too. The whole weekend I was looking for Lulu. She's always where we are! I sure was glad to see her when we got home...oh, and Jacob, too. LOL

Happy Tuesday! I just got back from seeing my Dad at the hospital and he is still bleeding but his levels are remaining the same so he did not need a transfusion. Still no idea when he is getting out but at least he is not in any pain. Tonight we have my daughter's soccer banquet. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is only 2 days away! Hope you are all having a great day and will check in later!
