I had that happen with some sourdough rolls awhile ago.My starter is going on 8 yrs old now. Its hard to gauge the first rise due to temp..lol..I will make it at 8 pm then check the rise twice during the night. Once I was baking bread at 4 a.m...ughh
I like sourdough so much better than yeast and use it in a lot of my baking now. We had pancakes the other day and they were so good.
I get my bread ready in pans around 10 pm and it is ready to bake by 6am.

Good Thanksgiving morning! May it be a great one for everyone celebrating. I woke up more congested, still trying to fight off this cold. Tons of things for me to do this morning to continue preparing for our work Christmas party coming soon. One great news at work: we achieved our goal for November and therefore we will enjoy 3 days at 30% off starting tomorrow. Christmas shopping here I come! Time to get this busy day going. Have a fantastic day everyone!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON 2016 DAY 12 **
----------THANKSGIVING DAY---------

Good Morning, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone out there in the entire, great MMC Nation!

Now our count is down to a single, but all important, line.
Days to Christmas Day: 31 (ONE MONTH FROM TOMORROW!)
(Just imagine. One month from today it will be Christmas Eve, guys.)

Not too bad weather-wise here yesterday for late November and today should be even nicer, with the high approaching 70 degrees.
We have started off at a much warmer 51 degrees here this morning after a light rain.

Well, I had better get started with the other Crowns and Crownlets in preparing for that Thanksgiving dinner, not to mention watching the Macy's Parade.

You, each and every one of you, have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thanksgiving Thursday, Through and Through!

Happy Thanksgiving MMC! Hope everyone has an awesome day of family, food, football and fun. It's one of the best days of the year and now everyone will admit we are fully into the Christmas season. Enjoy this special day!

Good morning to the MMC Community and allow me to add my best wishes on this special day to everyone, whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving or just enjoying the time with family and friends...

Here are a couple more NFL Thanksgiving Trivia to enjoy before the games:
1. In 1998, Dallas’ Troy Aikman (455 yards) and Minnesota’s Randall Cunningham (359 yards) combined for 814 yards passing in a single game.
2. Other than the Cowboys who have done it three times, the Dolphins are the only other team to win a Thanksgiving day game, and the Super Bowl in the same season. Miami did it in the 1973 season when they beat Dallas 14-7 on Thanksgiving, and then won Super Bowl VIII over the Vikings 24-7.

Kick back and relax.

Greetings gang. Here are my last two posts for NFL Thanksgiving Trivia and then like most of you, I will be away from the computer and enjoying the rest of the day...

1. From 2006-2011 the NFL Network broadcast the Thanksgiving evening game. Beginning in 2012, NBC has broadcast the Thanksgiving evening game.

2. “Red” Grange made his professional football debut for the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving in 1925.

Just wanted to drop in to wish you all a very happy blessed Thanksgiving!
Things are going well here, getting ready to head to the in-laws shortly for lunch – really could use the time at home to finish getting ready for our party but it's all good! I just keep telling myself that…
( it truly is all good ) we are blessed to have too many places to go in one day!

Ok. December 23 is Lovemas. ....11:30pm. Just as Lettermen would be coming on. We can count down to Christmas Eve with DARLENE LOVE. Omgggggggggggg omggggggggggggg onggggggg ongggggggg.

I'd love to attend, but I might be hosting my Christmas Sweater Extravaganza that day. If we're still home at that time, perhaps we will come in and celebrate Lovemas! Either way, the Queen of Christmas will still be playing throughout the party!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Crown! May you have a joyous time celebrating with your family.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I am at Russell today. To say that the snow hasn't stopped since sometime yesterday evening would be an understatement. Although it hasn't been much, it has accumulated pretty well. I think we have probably received about 8-10cm today, and they were only calling for 2-4 all day.

Glad to have spent a bit of time at the 'Pines last night. Those were some mighty fine twinkies that Carl had prepared. I didn't know twinkies out of a cornucopia could taste so good! Sorry I missed stopping by yesterday morning. I had volleyball practice to run at 7:30. The girls were great. Then, I had a bunch of preparations to make for their season, which begins next Thursday. It's all coming up so fast!

My dad is still in town. We've been having a good time, thus far. Tonight, we are going to the Bruins at Senators game. My dad has been a diehard Bruins fan his entire life. It will be great to see his team play here again, as we have missed the past couple seasons. Kim is also a Bruins fan, so it should be a fun night. Of course, Bruins are basically the only NHL team shirt I can wear. Hopefully we get a good result! Anyway, I hope my dad enjoys the game and has a safe and happy drive home to the Sault tomorrow.

Well, I should get ready for lunch... one of my favourite times of the day! I hope everyone has been enjoying the Christmas Season, and those down in the U.S.A. have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Nothing beats some delicious turkey, dressing/stuffing, mashed potatoes.... and to think, you will get it all again in nearly a month's time! Until then, let's enjoy this holiday and the Christmas Season!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Who needs Thanksgiving football, when there is Bruins hockey on tonight.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I watched the Macy's parade and wrote our Christmas cards. Mr. doesn't care for the parade, so he's busy with other projects this morning. He's also fighting a nasty cold, doggone it. But we'll be enjoying our holiday feast together later!
