Good Wednesday morning! I'm working the afternoon/evening shift today, so I'm currently doing some laundry and will run some errands afterwards. I also have to prepare a calendar for the month of December for work. We'll draw one gift card per day amongst our employees and put up the winner's name on the calendar. Yesterday after work hubby put up the Christmas tree to surprise me. We'll decorate it sometime this week. Even bare, the tree lightens my mood. Hope everyone will have a wonderful day!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON 2016 DAY 18 **

Good Morning, End-of-the-Month December Anticipators.

Incredible. November in the rear view mirror, now.
Up ahead, December.
Then.
Oh then!

The count:
Days to Christmas Day: 25 (Barely over 3 1/2 weeks now remain!)
52 weeks down to a mere 3.5. WOW!

The predicted warmer weather arrived just on the predicted schedule along with the also predicted rain.
All in all not bad though, as we had far more rain free hours.
Today should be more of the same, but colder weather is set to return for tomorrow.
We perceive 66 rather damp, post-rain degrees currently on our back door temeprature recording devise.

Well, Carl is ready at the 'Pines. This week's open house theme is "Farewell to Fall". I pointed out to him that technically we still have about 3 more weeks of Autumn remaining but he says he sees December as a Winter month. OK.
(Personally, I think he is overstocked on Fall/Thanksgiving merchandise and treats he wants to unload, but we will give him the benefit of the doubt.)
Regardless, NEXT week's decor and focus will clearly be on Christmas as we build toward the big day!
Hope to see everyone there this evening.

In the meantime, you have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends!

Good Tuesday, MMC!
Hope you're all doing well~ I keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers daily.
Things are still very busy at work-we may have one prospect. Fingers crossed.
We had a nice time with our families while we were away for the holiday. Ate way too much, but that's part of the fun, right?! Three Thanksgivings this year.
And we made it a point to hit the unveiling of my hometown's Rotary Lights. They were gorgeous, and get even more magical every year! Adrian, Mom, Dad, Jazzie, Harlowe, and I all went and had fun walking through the park. There was a live nativity, carriage rides, Santa, carolers, and an ice skating rink all set to open once it's cold enough.
'Tis the season for Christmassy fun!
Here are a few pics.

My SIL, Adi, BIL, niece, and nephew.

Hope you all have a merry week!
God bless!

:shakeit I missed our Old Fashioned Downtown Christmas Walk last Friday and I'll miss the Parade of Lights this Friday.

I'd like to miss our staff "holiday gathering" (we all celebrate Christmas so why don't we call it what it is?); 3 colleagues are receiving service recognition awards and were there for me last year (with thunderous applause - haha) so I feel obligated. :sway

I've been so busy with work; longer hours than usual and travelling as well so my husband feels "abandoned" and so does the cat. Last week, when I got back from a quick trip, O'Malley was following me around our place like a dog - that's not like him and I noticed that he was doing the same thing the other night when I got back from a meeting. I wonder if he knows Christmas is coming and is trying to get on "the good cat list".

I still have so much to do to prepare for Christmas; I'm feeling the rush. Have to get my mom out for our shopping and turkey lunch date soon. +h

I hope everyone had a nice day. Goodnight!
I LOVE this photo!
It made me think of an article I saw online last week about "here's what your cat thinks about your Christmas decorations." #1 in the list is the "leaf circle"! The article says, “Why would a human even make a circle of leaves if it weren’t for scratching, honestly? They should’ve hung this on the door sooner, but they left it on the table, and now it’s mine." That HAS to be what's going through Bella's mind!

Good evening,

Inventory went well, busted my butt to get everything done as efficient as possible. I have to head back in to work in a mere 6 hours 20 minutes. it will be a long rest of the week.

24 more days until vacation, 24 more days, 24 more days...

Goodnight, everyone
Hang in there. You're going to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree! Keep your eyes on the prize!

Good for you! So happy you were there and knew what to do.

Thanks Snowflake ~
Maggie's doing alright. Last week was pretty rough but she's doing better now. This last round of antibiotics really threw her for a loop. Her veterinarian prescribed medicine to help her tummy, thankfully it's helping. Never a dull moment.
I hope Har's cardiologist can help ease her cough <3
You're welcome, HmG~
I'm glad to hear that she's doing much better this week. Hope her stomach has settled.

Thanks so much <3

So cute!! :)
xo

Thank you! I'm still not 100% and I have a feeling Carolina is starting to get sick. She has been kind of hoarse for a few days and she just woke up crying for me but wasn't awake.
Prayers being sent up for the both of you, Natalie~
Take good care!

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!! Hard to believe it's the last Pines day of November already!!!
I got all my Thanksgiving things down last night. I got a few Christmas things up - mostly wall hangings/wreaths...things that I didn't have to carry big boxes down at 9pm! ;) Hopefully I'll have time to chip away at it again tonight!
Everyone, have a GREAT day!

Hello! How is everyone doing? I cannot believe that there is less than a month to go till Christmas! It feels like only yesterday when the summer vacation ended.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Last Wednesday was the best but today is still a good day. November is ending. I'm sorry but wasn't it just September starting up? The last day of the 3rd bers month and then well that month of December which just may be Christmas 24/7 for everyone. Another day at work during my busy week although it's not been overwhelming or anything. Another rainy day today but we need it so let it rain now and be nice on the weekend.
Have a great day!
Yes, it was just the 1st day of the BERS yesterday!!! :eek:o_O:rolleyes:
Enjoy your rainy day!

GOOD MORNING MMC !!

Gingerbread houses get finished this afternoon and dropped off at competition site tonight.
I have 2 birthday cakes to make for Saturday morning pickup.
Family Christmas party starts Saturday afternoon, it is potluck so I have to prepare some food for that.
Good thing I have today off work.

Hoping you all have a fantastic day !!

I do have to agree with Carl - December is winter to me....even if Nov. 30th is nearly 60º! ;)
Have a great day crown! See you tonight!
