Good Morning, Friends.
Onward we march into a new month. A month that will see us arrive at the greatest day of the rolling year!

Our progress is thus marked:
Days to Christmas Day: 24 (Now UNDER 3 1/2 weeks left!)
Really starting to close in now on our goal!


Quite warm here yesterday after a record high low the prior night.
Rain fell in the evening with the possible threat of severe weather which fortunately did not materialize.
Today should be calm and rain-free but chillier, and we have commenced it at 58 degrees.


Have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
Tomorrow is the first Weekend Eve of December!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!! Happy December!!!

I didn't get any more decorating done last night. It was after 8:00 until I got home from the hospital & groceries put away - I just didn't feel like tackling it! Maybe tonight - or tomorrow!

I really enjoyed Christmas In Rockefeller Center last night. Beautiful!

We'll be watching Dolly Parton's "Circle of Love", the sequel to "Coat of Many Colors".

I recorded it! I haven't seen Coat of Many Colors yet, so I want to watch that 1st!

I am. Always watch it every year. Love those annual recurring Christmas Specials.
REALLY miss "Christmas in Washington" which had run every year since 1982 but was cancelled last year.
(In case anyone else is interested, Christmas in Rockefeller Center will air at 8:00 tonight, eastern time, on NBC.)

It was pretty good this year. Better than last year's, I thought.
Enjoyed the majority of the performances.

I too watched it & I agree - it was WAY better than last year!! I thought all the performers were awesome! I am a Neil Diamond fan, but he may have struggled a little.

I'm getting ready to turn in, just wanted to catch up here first. I put another tree up today, thought I'd share a picture. This tree has my vintage ornaments on it. It's a little sparse but I hope to keep collecting and adding to it every year

Happy Thursday!
Merry December!!!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 56 degrees. Typical day for me, I have to run a couple of errands and then I'll be working on my daily chores. Most of my Christmas decorating is finished. Although I still have to set up my village. I don't even want to tackle that by myself so I'm going to wait until the weekend when my husband can help. I also want to finalize my menu plan & grocery list for Christmas Day. And I have to work on my gift list as well. I must start shopping for gifts soon!

Good morning from Greece!!!i wanted to stay awake in order to see the rockefeller christmas ceremony but it was 3 am here in Greece so i fell asleep.do you know any way to watch it today?

The musical performances were excellent. And the tree is stunning!

Good evening,

I am so incredibly tired tonight, I think I ended up with less than 4 hours of sleep last night. I have to be in extra early tomorrow morning, so sleep is coming very soon. I am watching the Penguins vs Islanders now, I know Christmas Vacation is on but my wife fell asleep on the couch while watching TV so I can't watch it without her, it is one of our favorites.
I've got to wake her up and head to bed.

I don't see anywhere to view the full episode of Christmas In Rockefeller but if you look on Youtube, you can see video's of many of the singers. I just typed in "2016 Christmas In Rockefeller"

I liked that he did "Almost Day." You don't hear that often!

I thought Tony Bennett's performance was weak ... his voice may be failing.

I liked the contemporary performers more than I expected, especially Josh Groban and Tori Kelly.

Happy December MMC! The month of Christmas has arrived. Unbelievable. Just really feeling festive this morning. Even when I do my run at 5:30 AM a lot of houses have their lights on so it's a really nice feeling. 25 days of Christmas begins tonight. I need to seriously watch a lot of Christmas shows beginning today and I will. I've not watched as many as I would have liked in November...time to make up for it in December. Enjoy your 1st day of Christmas month. It's really here!

I wish people here would have Christmas lights on early in the morning. Usually don't see too many until night time.

Jackie's gorgeous! Only two buds on Laura. I think she's sitting this year out!

I know "Almost Day" from a Weavers Christmas album that Mr. has. And yes, for 90 years of age, Tony is still getting it done, just not at full power. Still, how well do any of us sing in a chilly rainstorm, live, in front of millions of viewers? Still a pro, he is.
