Good morning everyone. Like many of you, we are going to be hammered by that arctic blast! Out high is unseasonably warm today at 67, then tomorrow we are well below freezing with a low of 10! Wowzers!

So it has warmed up some, it's now -26°C/-14°F. David just had the results of his MRI, he has two intra-muscular tears. So physiotherapy for two weeks and then they will see if he can go back to work with light duties. Happy that he doesn't need surgery.

WOW heat wave. Ha ha ha!! That's COLD my friend. Hope you are staying warm.
So glad your hubby won't be needing surgery. Prayers for quick healing for him!!! xx

My sister's stepdaughter has been accepted to YALE! YALE!!!!!!!
She applied for early acceptance and they took her.
Oh my golly! I'm so happy for her! She's such a nice girl, and it's great to see good things happen for her. She wants to be an "International Lawyer" (I'm pretty sure that's it), and work for the good of humanity.

I still can't get over this! YALE! Wheeeeeeeeee!

Looks like all my Christmas prep will be crammed into those 2 days I'm off. Mikes mom went to the hospital last night for chest pains. They were keeping her overnight and so far I have heard no news in how she is

I've got all of my gifts bought, wrapped, and under the tree. The only thing I've baked so far though is 3 pumpkin rolls. I threw them in the freezer for Christmas Eve and day.

Mom has several appointments next week and finally has the court hearing for her disability on Tuesday. Then her birthday is Thursday too. So I really need to finish off everything this weekend. So I'll probably start cookies this afternoon.

Good early Friday morning! Woke up at 3am and couldn't fall back asleep. It's currently -33°C/-27°F outside and it won't warm up much more during the day. I'm just trying to relax and setlle my mind so I can sleep some more. Hope everyone will have a wonderful day coming up.

I still didn't finish my Christmas shopping, I'll be heading back out today. I usually love the hustle and bustle but I must start earlier next year. I'm getting too old, I would prefer a more leisurely pace! My husband and I will be attending his company's Christmas party this evening, I'm looking forward to it!

Good morning MMC! Merry, Happy Friday!! YAY!!!!!

Emma came over last night, just to give her a break from being "cooped up" at moms house all week - we drove around to see some lights & then she wanted to relax at our house with Christmas lights & cocktails (Yep, @snowflake22 she chose Lienie's Berry Weiss & she loved it!) We had such a nice visit. I just ♥ her! I get off work at noon today & I'll head home to let Miss Grace out & then I'll be heading to moms to spend the day/night with her. I feel like I'm bringing everything but the kitchen sink along - hoping to get some cooking/baking done! My SIL is going to relieve me at 8am tomorrow - I'll head home to get things ready for cookie day with my friend & her daughters! We also have a wedding tomorrow AND our neighborhood house hopping tomorrow night! I just want a nice relaxing cookie day - nothing else - doesn't look like that's going to happen! Sunday is Christmas at my in-laws! Going to be a fast & busy weekend!

Still need to figure out what I'm going to make for mom & I for supper tonight - and bring those ingredients along too!

Starting out today at 7º - BRRRR! Supposed to get some snow, then freezing rain overnight...and then 42º tomorrow with rain (yuck) - crazy weather!

It's a cold, but beautiful winter wonderland here. We have a winter storm advisory, 6-11 inches today, white out conditions expected later this afternoon when it gets heavier. It continues tomorrow with another couple of inches forecasted.
Sunday, our high is -8 degrees

I think I will stay put for the most part, and get some wrapping done, watch Christmas movies, and maybe bake some more. Our friends are having us over Saturday night for a Christmas get together. Should be a cozy weekend~
I also want to stick close to home for Harlowe, she has been struggling overnight all week. It's making me very nervous, as it's been consistent and all night long. I have a call into her cardiologist, to rule out any side effects. We're hoping it's not another disease that Cavaliers are prone to. Please keep her in your prayers.

Morning! Wow it's cold out...but it's going to warm up a bit this weekend with some snow and then rain. My brother's flight is set to arrive 5AM Saturday but the snow is supposed to start tonight around 2AM. I'm not sure if he's going to be delayed or not. My Christmas Party was a lot of fun. It always is. Today is Friday thankfully and although this will be a busy pre-Christmas weekend it also should be a fun one. Have a great Friday!

Merry Friday! Thanks for all the condolences for my Gram. I am just working today and it is so cold out today. We have a Christmas party to go to tonight and we are supposed to get 2-5 inches of snow starting after midnight but we will be home before that for sure. Tomorrow we are headed to see my FIL in Boston, we are heading out later in the day so hopefully the it will be raining by then. Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the last weekend before Christmas!
