Morning! Christmas Eve Eve Eve...we're running out of time till the big day. Today is my last work day before Christmas. I'll be off Friday through Monday. I don't know where this year has gone as it seems we were all here not long ago a few days before Christmas of 2015. But it's been an amazing and fun ride. Tonight I definitely will be wrapping more and watching Christmas shows. I'm going to enjoy it because Friday is going to be a very busy day. Glad I took it off because I need to get a lot done then.

Time to finish up the yearly cookie marathon today. Tomorrow I make only 2 styles but they are easy. I decided yesterday this tradition is growing old. Time to weed out all the different kinds..or..make cookie trays early in December and give em out. This is cutting into my quality time..lol

Good evening all!
Well, school is over for Christmas break!! Henry and I just made a few dozen sugar cookies and my wife made four other kinds of cookies. Tomorrow we will ice the sugar cookies.

The house smells wonderful right now.

How fun!! Enjoy your 1st day of Christmas break!!!
I could tell on my way to work today that kids are home from school b/c I saw a lot of Christmas tree's glowing through windows! Love it!

And "nearly" is an understatement, as we discover ourselves practically standing on the doorstep!

Days to Christmas Day: 3 (Now UNDER HALF A WEEK to go!)
May the fates have mercy!


Pretty good here yesterday with highs in the 50's, plenty of sun and no rain or wind. (Very nice indeed for December here in central North Carolina!)
Today is predicted to be even better, and we could break past the 60 degree mark.
At this hour, we stand just over 45 degrees here in the capital city.

December 21 already, wow, this is just so incredible that in just over 72 hours Christmas day will be here.
I just work tomorrow and Friday and then vacation starts, I cannot wait, I am running on fumes at this point. I finished my wrapping this afternoon, went and saw LC's Christmas show at school, picked up some final desserts from Costco for Christmas. I don't think I have ever had such a hectic December.

We're off Friday and Monday, too. I usually take the time between Christmas and New Years, but I'll stick around this year to support our manager. Speaking of Christmas shows, I still haven't watched It's a Wonderful Life yet this year!
