No, really, I really enjoy the warmer weather. I was a July baby and lived in a small town, so I've always enjoyed spring and summer on their own merits, besides being stepping-stones to autumn. I have to be pushed a little into autumn! I always hate to see the warm, long days get shorter and colder.

I am exactly the same way Merry! I do love autumn, but I'm never ready to say goodbye to the wonderful days of summer! I have to tell myself every year "ready or not, it's coming so you might as well enjoy!" And then once it's here, I do always enjoy!

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!!! We have started the day with a bright & sunny/breezy 22º! Brrrrr! But it sure looks pretty - looking out the window!

My homemade bread turned out pretty good last night. I will do it a little different the next time, but all in all, it was tasty! The new patty melt recipe was good too though Jim says I can back off the Dijon mustard the next time! I heard him tell Gracie it was scrumptious!!

If you could say a prayer for my friend Roxanne today, I would appreciate it. She goes in for a cancer scan in Columbus today. She had a double mastectomy a few weeks ago & then didn't get the results she was hoping for. She sure could use some MMC prayers! Thanks!

wow, evening already, where did the day go ?
It has been a busy one for me. helping someone with cleaning, shopping, laundry, working on the first items for the cake competition (over 5,000 pieces to be made which is why I am starting already for a cake not due till November) good thing items made from sugar last for years when dried properly.
Well, I am going for a walk to get my energy back again.
