And the Milestone, which we are now UNDER half a week away from, is the 1/4 point to Christmas Day 2017.

Well, the chilly weather has returned and a jacket was needed all day yesterday, with the same being true for today.
We have commenced this day before Weekend Eve at a below normal 35 degrees here in the capital city.


Say, that conga line got a little out of hand last night at the 'Pines, didn't it?
Who would have believed so many people would have followed Carl right into the swimming pool that way?
Oh, well. You just never know.

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I haven't thought to mention here, but my brother and his fiancé are having a baby! She has had cancer in the recent past, and the doctors told her she wouldn't be able to get pregnant after the treatments, but she is. They went to the doctor who confirmed it, and said everything looked great. I'll be an uncle (by blood) in November!

It's a little cooler today with a high in the 60's, but, like Edge said, we are told that this is probably the last cool spell till later in the year. Oh, well. A season for all things, but I wish we'd had a real winter LOL.

I think we're going to supper at mama's tonight.

Good evening,

It was a day off today, but it was just one of those days where I felt like I got hit by a truck. I woke up this morning watching TV the wind is gusting very strong, I run out to get the trash cans so they don't blow down the street. I come back in watch TV again and all of the sudden I roll over and it is after 11. I ran out to get the cans at 745. Didn't do much after that, just cleaned up and laundry.
Back to work in the morning.

wow, evening already, where did the day go ?
It has been a busy one for me. helping someone with cleaning, shopping, laundry, working on the first items for the cake competition (over 5,000 pieces to be made which is why I am starting already for a cake not due till November) good thing items made from sugar last for years when dried properly.
Well, I am going for a walk to get my energy back again.

Good Morning Friends! Just went to the store and saw all of the Easter candy. It's one candy holiday after another. Have a great day!

Happy Friday Eve!! Another week almost gone...hard to believe! I am looking forward to some warmer weather that is for sure. Just usual work for me today and my oldest daughter has a soccer clinic tonight so we will go to that. Hope you all have a great day!!

A Tremendous Thursday to all my MMC family and friends. Another day (actually night) under my belt and time to relax a bit, have some Java, listen to some music (right now Kringle Radio) and catch up with all of you before the sandman comes to collect me.
Got my garage straightened up on Monday and decided that I have way too much Christmas tree decorations. Now that we have trimmed down from 12 -14 trees to a mere 4-6, there is a lot of extra ornaments and garland (plus some house decorations) to go through. Should be fun at exchange time.
I pray all is going well for each of your and your families. Though "Peace On Earth" may seem more like a fantasy or dream that will not come true in the world around us. It is so nice to come to a place where peace, love, friendship and care reign supreme.

A very pleasant day to you SnowflakeMom. Dance, soccer, etc... so what day of the week do you guys just kind of fall back on the coach and relax? I'm sure the children more than appreciate your interest, time and encouragement.
