Merry afternoon,

Pouring rain here. I mean that's nothing new for here but it is worse than usual.

It looks like we might be moving next week Friday! We complete the sale and purchase on the same day so it means just a couple of hours to move house! I will try to have everything packed by night before.

Well have a great day.

How exciting Sam. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts, I hope the move goes smoothly. Best wishes <3

Hello all.
Not much going on here today, just lounging around a bit. Henry started the summer reading program through the local library today. So glad he enjoys reading.

I started my second summer course for my Master's yesterday. So most of the rest of the summer I will have two classes going on. Really it is not too much work. Lots of reading and forum posts with a couple of papers sprinkled in for good measure. But once summer is over I only have 2 more real classes and then my thesis prep class and writing my thesis itself. This time next year I will be in the middle of writing my thesis. By the end of next summer I will be done! My wife just recently received her official Master's degree in the mail. She finished a couple of months ago, but had to wait until the university had their graduation.

Everyone have a great day!

Good luck with your classes Iteachpercussion!
Congratulations to your wife!!!

Man, what a BEAUTIFUL afternoon. We had mid 80's and an awesome breeze. Girls and I played outside for a couple of hours. I love these moments...

If it can't be Christmas, let it be summertime with two little girls running around in the yard yelling and screaming for Daddy to chase them...

Love getting outside playing with Harper. The only thing is I'd prefer weather anywhere in the 60's to 70's . As Ive gotten older can't stand temps above 80 at the most.

Happy Pines Day! Rollins woke me up at 2 a.m. to someone screaming outside down a few blocks on the main road. It was kind of creepy actually something you'd hear out of a horror movie. Then 5 minutes later you heard it again out of nowhere. It was very weird. Maybe someone drunk. It's a very quiet town so you never hear that kind of noise in the middle of the night like that. Of course then going back to sleep was a challenge. Other than that just another day at work and already starting to eye the 3 day bday weekend. Have a great one!

That's so unnerving, hope that person is alright.
Have a good day Edge.

Good morning ~
Merry Pines Day!
We're finally going to have some sunshine today, temperatures will be in the upper 60's. Not too much going on here. I just tidied up the house and started laundry. I'm going to take a ride to Target this morning to pick up a few things. I also need to stop at Hallmark for a couple of cards. I guess that's about it. Dinner will be pasta and chicken cacciatore. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

Good Morning, Mid-Weekers!
(That would mean 'Pines Day, of course.)

But before we discuss this week's open house, we need to discuss this morning's data and the shocking proximity of our next marker!

Days to the Season: 159
Days to Christmas Day: 201

And that second number tells it all. As of TOMORROW we will arrive at the 200-day Christmas Day Window.
Then, the day after tomorrow, DOUBLE 100'S!
(So exciting!)

Well, there was no further rain yesterday, despite a few teasing storm clouds that decided to keep their water faucets turned off.
Today should be clear for my trip to the cottage, for which I will be leaving shortly, placing you in the highly dependable and capable hands or our own NcGunny for the next two mornings.
We are currently starting things off here in central NC at 65 degrees.

Alas, I cannot be at the 'Pines tonight owing to my coastal trip but I hear that Carl is going all out. Now that we are in June, he is feeling rather "Summery" and no doubt has some seasonal plans for inn visitors. That, of course, almost certainly means special summer beverage blends (not to mention entertainment in keeping with the situation.)

I might possibly be back in town late Thursday, but probably more likely Friday afternoon.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Fellow MMC'ers!

That could be a fox, Edge. The female (vixen) scream at night can be quite unnerving. We get them here in our neighborhood occasionally.

Hmm we have seen those before. It was very unnerving. Like I said I live in a quiet neighborhood so you never hear anything like that in the middle of the night. Pretty scary.
