Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday! We had some stormy weather pass through the area last night. Didn't affect us much, but 20 miles up the road got hit pretty good. Scary! They are saying chance of more strong storms this afternoon. Gracie spent the night in the basement. Came up at 3am to go outside, then right back down the basement she went!

Gracie has her vet check up this afternoon at 4:30. UGH! If it's storming she will be a disaster riding over there. Can you imagine what that will do to her BP reading?? If you have a chance say a little prayer for my Gracie girl. Hoping for all good test results! xx Makes me nervous every time!!

I ordered from Amazon & rec'd this yesterday. I'm excited to watch! I brought it to Moms last night for her & Emma to watch since her cable was out.

Morning MMC! 7-11 which means free slurpee day. Oh and my mom's bday lol. It's going to be a warm day today but it's summer. Still no heat waves in sight. Had a busy Monday at work and Tuesday should be pretty similar. Might take Rollins to the park after work and then relax. I still feel like my body is catching up on sleep after my brother's stay here. Anyone watching the baseball All-Star Game tonight? Have a great Tuesday!

Good Tuesday morning! 4 work days to go before our 2-week vacation. I will be going in early, as yesterday and today I am spending half a day training new hires, which means less time for my own work to get done. And tomorrow afternoon our manager wants to hold a meeting and I definitely want to attend. I'd rather work a couple of longer days now if that means finishing on time on Friday. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

We sure have gotten a lot of rain lately. We always welcome the rain, but with Jim's outdoor wedding reception coming up Saturday, it's starting to get a little concerning. He even has a band coming. They are going to be under a shelter, but it won't block blowing rain or moisture.

Our band has played many outdoor wedding receptions, but one stands out in particular. We were at the coast, at a beautiful home. As soon as we started playing, it started raining. We quickly packed up the equipment into our trailer and waited. It stopped and seemed to clear, so we setup again and as soon as we started playing, it started raining again. We did that one more time, then we called it a night. The dad was irritated, but he paid us, anyway.

I've always said, we only charge to setup and breakdown, but we play and sing for free!

I'm going to a job site this morning, but I'll be back after lunch. I hope y'all have a great day!

It's a rainy day here, but kinda nice. It's just a plain old steady rain, no violent wind or lightning or hail. It would be perfect if I could listen to it in my bedroom instead of at the office!

It's going to be cloudy and warm today with a chance of showers. I have to make a Target run at some point. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. We're going out for dinner this evening to celebrate my daughters birthday. Yesterday was her actual birthday but we couldn't get everyone together last night. She still had a great day, I took her out for a sushi lunch and her boyfriend took her out for a fancy dinner. Tonight the whole family will get together at her favorite Italian restaurant.

Good Morning, Milestone Approachers and Anticipators.

Yes, Folks.
We are both approaching and anticipating a Milestone marker later this week!

For now, we must content ourselves with the daily numbers:
Days to the Season: 125
Days to Christmas Day: 167

But the anticpation is building to a fever pitch as we find ourselves just THREE days away from the TWO-THIRDS point to Christmas Season 2017.
(This coming Friday, Guys. Less than HALF A WEEK left!)


Not too bad here yesterday weatherwise, especially by evening.
No rain and the temp and humidity, while not low, were still manageable.
Today is predicted to be dry with a high in the low 90's.
(Summer is definitely here, Friends!)
We have commenced today's weather edition clear at 75 degrees.

We're going out for dinner this evening to celebrate my daughters birthday. Yesterday was her actual birthday but we couldn't get everyone together last night. She still had a great day, I took her out for a sushi lunch and her boyfriend took her out for a fancy dinner. Tonight the whole family will get together at her favorite Italian restaurant.

Poor Gracie!! I hope she does ok at the vet. My boys are going next week. I have to take them separately. Andre LOVES the vet and Leo is absolutely terrified so it is too hard for me to take them at the same time..lol

Poor Leo!! I hope both of their appointments go well. xx Gracie loves to go to the vet, but if it's storming she only wants to be under her table in the basement. And then they have to get her to lay still to take 5 BP readings. AND stick a needle in her bladder....yet, she gets all excited to go there. Crazy pooch!

Thanks Brad. Right now it looks like it's going to stay south of us, but it's rumbling so I'm sure she's in the basement!! Gracie never use to hide when it rained, but she has started too now. I think she's put it together rain = thunder a lot of times. Poor pups!
