Hi MMC,
2 days in a row!
I made a turkey dinner today, a Thanksgiving sampler, it hit the spot very tasty.
I hope you all are doing well
Yay for two days in a row!

A turkey dinner sounds sooo good!

Thanks Crown! Not many fingers needed left to count the weeks!Top of the Morning, my Friends!
Hey! A new week is upon us.
And not so very many left until the long-awaited Christmas Season begins.
(You can count them on one hand, in fact. And have a finger left over!)
Days to Halloween: 15 (Two weeks from tomorrow!)
Days to the Season: 28 (FOUR WEEKS FROM TODAY!)
Days to Christmas Day: 70 (Ten weeks from today!)
(Things really start to rock once we pass below that 1-month mark, don't they?)
The temps and humidity were up a bit yesterday, but not overly so.
Today may bring us some rain but the balance of the week should be clear with comfortable temperatures.
This brand new week has started off with a reading of 66 degrees, here.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
Hi xmas...so good to see you! Keeping your family in my prayers.Hi everyone,
I haven't been here in months. So much going on, trying to get life back to normal, but I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. My wife and I seperated for a while, but we are back together now and trying to work on things.
I hope you all are doing well
Haunted house sounds like it was a lot of fun!Morning MMC! I have off today which is my little mid-way break between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. Hard to believe we're already more than halfway between those 2 days. I'm going to IHOP for lunch and other than that trying to use my day off to relax some. We went to a Haunted House last night and it was fun. Pretty scary and fun. Definitely put me in the Halloween spirit which is coming. Have a great Monday!
Happy Monday, Holiday!Good morning MMC! It sure is Monday! I hope everyone had a nice weekend!!!
I was off work Friday for the funeral, which was pretty much horrible!Friday afternoon friends all gathered at the local watering hole & had drinks on the patio. Friday night we went to the lake. Oh my goodness we had so many laughs with friends/neighbors that night. Went TP'ing twice this weekend -we went back in time to being kids again. So funny!
Saturday we celebrated our friends birthday - went out on bicycles. Such a gorgeous day! Saturday night we watched the Buckeyes on the big screen. Had a nice fire going. Last night we visited with our friends who just lost their son. They are doing pretty well, but they are still numb. I feel so horrible for them.
Now it's back to work - Monday! It's going to be chilly today, not getting out of the 50's. What a change! Yesterday started really warm but the wind/rain moved in & it really cooled off. Seemed like it took forever for it to get daylight this morning! I guess it's that time of the year!
Have a great day everyone!

How awesome! I'm glad you had a great time & were able to spend time with your sister. So fun!Yes I had a great time. First time I'd seen my sister in three years. Weather was lovely and dry which is a big change for me lol
My hubby mowed Friday ~ he had to put the mower on it's highest setting. We went from brown crunchy grass to long green in just a few days! Now the grass can be mowed again.Good morning everyone.
Glad to have another busy week finished. This weekend won't be too busy. Henry has a football game tomorrow and I have a bunch a grading to do. I think our Air/Heat Pump will finally be fixed today!
It is suppose to be warm today, close to 80. Then rain and cooler tomorrow. I think after that we are done with 80 degree days.
I really need to mow the grass today... but... I don't want to.Plus we have decorations all over the front yard. I really don't want to take them out of the ground, mow, and replace them. Too much trouble. We will see what happens.
Well, everyone have a great day!
Wow - looks like a great Santa & Mrs Claus!View attachment 39681
So, I’m at my step-sons Jr Bowling and I’ve seen this guy here with full beard and dressed in red before today. In talking with one of the coordinators of Jr Bowling, I find out he really does play Santa (he was watching his grandson bowl.) We’ve been looking for a new Santa for our Christmas Eve party at my sister’s because the person we have now is getting up there in age and is having trouble navigating stairs. So I approached him today and told him my story and he gave me the bottom card. Then I told him about being a Christmas and Santa fanatic and then he hands me the top card. This guy is great!
Oooooooh, you've been in Brown County!! ♥ ♥ ♥ Did you find/buy anything good?I'm so far behind. I need to get back to my normal schedule so I can get back in the groove.
I've been hanging out in southern Indiana the last couple of days. The trees haven't reached peak colors yet but they are getting there. The shops in Nashville did have some Christmas out though!! So that made the trip worth it.
Nice to see you xmas! Prayers to you & your family!Hi everyone,

Arrived back home from our 3 day hike this evening. Had a great time. It was hot but loved hiking, fishing, and camping in the GMS national park. The wilderness section of the park is awesome. Bear, deer, turkey, grouse, eagle all around you. Dinners were great with trout caught earlier that day cooked on an open fire. Sleeping in a hammock on the side of Hazel creek. Loved 3 days with no electronics. Now back to the real world...
Have a blessed Sunday everyone.
