2 days guys! Man it really has gone too fast though...feel like we just started September 1. October seems to have gone twice as fast as September did.
It’s flying by Edge, enjoy every minute!

That sound slike one I have to check out! I've always liked Anthony Perkins.Halloweekend---I like that!
i'm hoping to watch some Halloween-y movies and TV shows this weekend. One I haven't seen for a while is a weird TV special from 1966 called "Evening Primrose." It's about an author who plans to live in a department store, hiding by day and living off the goods at night. Once he gets inside, he finds there's an entire (rather spooky) community of people living in the store after hours! They're pretty creepy, and have very strict rules that he must follow if he wants to stay. He falls in love with a girl they keep as a slave, and of course their love is forbidden. They are pursued by mysterious Dark Men who will turn them permanently into store manikins if they're caught. And ... it's a Stephen Sondheim musical. Anthony Perkins (of Psycho) plays the author, and the girl is Charmian Carr (from The Sound of Music). I bought the DVD a few years ago, and I've only watched it once ... I'm getting a yen to see it again during the "spooky season."
I hoe you enjoyed a spooky weekend with all your favourite shows and candy!Hey Festive. I'm treating this weekend like it is Halloween since it falls on a Tuesday. Lots of Halloween shows. As usual it has gone too fast but as you say...we have something awesome even after it's over. But first I want to wish everyone here a great Halloween Weekend!
I watched "Evening Primrose" yesterday, and it was great! Mr. and I also watched "The Face at the Window" (Tod Slaughter) and "Bowery at Midnight" (Bela Lugosi) yesterday. On Halloween, when we're through answering the doorbell, we'll watch a Halloween-themed "Laugh-In" and a Barney Miller episode featuring a guy who believes he's a werewolf. We save that one for Halloween! That sound slike one I have to check out! I've always liked Anthony Perkins.
Very creepy storlyline for sure. Hope you enjoyed your spooky weekend and the movie.
