Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good Morning, Season Seekers.
We are all seeking, here.....and soon we shall find!

Here's why:
Days to the Season: 8 (ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 18 (Just over 2 1/2 weeks left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 55 (SEVEN WEEKS from tomorrow!)

(Just think. One week from tomorrow, we will actually be within Christmas Season 2017! Is that even possible??)


Yesterday was cloudy all day with an occaisonal light sprinkle. The temps stayed in the low to mid 60's.
Today will see the return of mid-70's weather and we have started it off at 56 degrees. The skies are still cloudy but sun is promised by this afternoon.


Have a Super Sunday, Everyone.
And if you feel like it (and see your way clear based on NFL loyalties) put in a few good thoughts about the Panthers as they take on the Falcons this afternoon!

Tree is up. I woke up about 4:30 this morning and went into the living room....just to bask in the glow of the lights.

I don't care how old I get, those lights will always warm my heart. About 6:30, Bambina came and and laid down with me....she said, "Tree is pretty, Dad. Merry Christmas."

My eyes sprung a leak...
 
I feel like more and more people that I know are decorating earlier every year. I can’t get over how many of my friends have decorated or have started decorating for Christmas. It’s nice. I enjoy it so much more that the, “It’s too early for Christmas” comments.

Best part is there is at least 1 week left of the golf season. I’m at 125 rounds so far.

My daughter is 21 months old and she seems to being enjoying the Christmas decorations.
 
Good evening everyone. I just got back to Connecticut about an hour ago, I spent the weekend in Pennsylvania. The weather here is like Blahhhh; foggy, warmish, a misting rain. It's the kind of weather that makes a body just want to crawl in bed.

My goodness, so many posts about decorating already. I give you all two thumbs up for your Christmas Spirit! I found a satellite station on Sirius xm that is playing 24/7 Christmas music, channel 4; Love it!!!! I also see many shopping centers that are putting up their lights, trees and such. Soooooo, exciting this time of year, all we need now is some colder temperatures and some snow!!!
 
Evening everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Our week is nearly upon us. Kim and I took in many of the sights and sounds of the soon-to-be Season this weekend. On top of our actual experiences, I am sure you all have been seeing wonderful Christmas commercials on your TVs over the past few days, too! The Season is so close!

I managed to snap about 50 photos that I will be uploading to the Blossoms thread tomorrow. I think I'm a little too tired to do it tonight.

The highlight of the weekend was when Kim and I found our very own A Christmas To Remember type store at Place D'Orleans Mall here in Ottawa. It was an absolutely elegant store with plenty of Christmas beauty. We loved it!

Well, I think it's bed time here. I'm not looking forward to waking up at 7:15...!
 
the mrs and i have been making our way through Hallmark Christmas classics - almost 1 per night!

The non-descript straight-to-tv movies are great - just good, clean, yuletide drama.

Good morning ~
Happy Monday!
It’s going to be cloudy with showers later today, highs near 68 degrees. Not too much going on here. I have an appointment with my naturopathic doctor this morning. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores and hopefully finish decorating my Keepsake tree. I’m so tempted to pull all of my Christmas decorations out but my husband wants to hold off. At least I get to enjoy this one tree for now. The glow of those lights at night make me so happy, gives me the warm and fuzzies!

Morning MMC! The last week before the Christmas Season? Yes I guess that is true somehow, someway. Had a mostly good weekend. Now time for a 5 day week. Looks like it will be mild today before a cool down. Starting to really think about Thanksgiving now. I think it's hitting me how close we are to it. I hope for a good day for everyone at MMC. Enjoy it...cause something major is coming next week!
