I've never been to Stockbridge, but I saw a news items about this year's celebration. Pretty cool idea, to reproduce a living Rockwell holiday painting!

Merry Tuesday!

We have been under a wind advisory for most of the day. Maybe the gusts are a bit less strong. Here's hoping as I have a long trip ahead of me tomorrow.

Be safe and merry!
Safe travels today M!!! Have a good day!

Evening all! The wind is just howling outside right now! Trash cans blowing over, screen doors blowing open the kitties are looking around wondering what in the world is all the noise?

Speaking of kitties, this evening, we went and took both kitties to the vets and we had them both micro-chipped, rabies shots, ears cleaned, and the works. The little one (Ariel), she did pretty good but Shiloh, ohhhhhh, that was one un-very happy kitty cat. No hissing, biting, growling or anything like that, it was just her looks. Oh boy, was she ever giving them the stink eye!!!! Her ears were pasted back and she was staying low in the carrier.

Once we got them home, we set their carries on the floor and opened up the doors and they came out and ran right underneath the big chair and hid under there for awhile. That was until I went into the kitchen and came out of it, shaking a bag full of kitty treats. Ohhhh, they came out from underneath that chair in about 2 seconds flat. I gave them some treats and played with them for a little while. Then I picked Shiloh up and held her for awhile. She loved that, because she was purring very loudly and she laid on my chest.

I can hear it staring to rain outside now. I sure am glad I'm in the house where it is all warm and dry tonight.
Awe! Poor kitties ~ I'm sure they are happy that is behind them! Hope they & you have a good day! Stay warm 'n dry!

Just watched Office Christmas Party myself 2 nights ago. Agree it was just ok. Pretty good cast but nothing I would go out of my way for again.
I tried to watch last night but we didn't get that station ~ I thought we did! Bummer!

Good morning ~
Merry Pines Day!
My mother called me last night and asked me to take her to Costco today so that’s the plan. We’ll probably grab lunch afterward. I’m thinking Chinese food :) Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day. See you at the Pines!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 24 **

Good Morning, Fellow Seasonites!

And indeed, what a great time it is to be a citizen of the great MMC Nation.
Only as such a citizen can we fully appreciate the Christmas Season year round, giving us an advantage on the public at large.

Today's count:
Days to Christmas Day: 19 (Down into the teens, now!)
Rapidly drawing nearer to the big day. (Bought that eggnog, yet?)

Well, we enjoyed our final day of warm weather yesterday, with our high near 70.
That will be but a memory over the coming days, as we plunge down to 19 by Sunday night, with highs only reaching the mid 40's.
(Brrrr! That's a bit too "seasonal" for my blood!)
Right now, we are at 54 degrees here in the capital city after a light rain, and it's supposed to get colder during the day instead of warmer..

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone.
See you tonight at the 'Pines for the first open house of December!
(Carl is ready for you. But the question is, are you ready for Carl?)
Thanks Crown! It's scary how close we're getting!

Morning MMC! Today is a vacation day for me so I'm going to finish Christmas shopping (or attempt to). May go to Applebee's for dinner also. Nice way to break up a long week. I really have been loving my tree lit in the evenings. It's just awesome to sit by your tree sometimes and watch Christmas shows. I've been seeing Elf and The Santa Claus on. Time to get to some more of the classics as we're getting closer to the big dynamic duo. Have a great Wednesday!
Enjoy your day off!!

I thought it was cool too! The friend I Christmas shop with sent that too me saying this is where she wants to go for our shopping trip next year. I think she's only half kidding?!!!

Good Wednesday morning! Temperatures are mild, hovering around the freezing point, but strong northernly winds have been raging since yesterday. It will remain mild until next week, where they predict a sharp drop in temperatures. And maybe some snow on Monday, but it's looking more and more like Christmas will be green this year.

Still fighting off congestion but I barely cough, it's all in my chest area right now. I woke up at 6:15am to see my husband off to work but went right back to sleep until 8:45. Felt like a truck had run over me. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift today, at least I can relax this morning. Hope everyone will enjoy a wonderful day!

I had no idea there is a Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer: The Movie (1998)

Feel better Martine! Nice that you were able to go back to sleep. Sounds like you needed it! Hope you feel better & better as the day goes on!!

Good Wednesday afternoon, Christmas friends!

We closed the plant yesterday so that any of the guys that wanted to, could attend Russell's funeral. It was a beautiful service, with his daughter delivering the eulogy. Wow, she was awesome. I don't know how she did it, but it was wonderful.

After that, I took some of the management from our other facilities out to dinner. We had a great time telling old stories about Russell. I'm sure he would not have approved LOL.

This morning, Elizabeth's class had their Class Ring Presentation with a dinner afterwards, so I'm just getting to work. She's so proud, and her...boyfriend (grrr)...was her presenter. LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

It sounds like Russell definitely would have approved!! That's making the best of a terrible situation.

I have never heard of a class ring presentation before. Sorry Dad regarding the boyfriend! :p

Hope your afternoon at work goes well!
