Good late evening everyone.
Well, my Browns were able to lose again! I was worried they might accidentally win a game. But, fear not, the defense collapsed and the QB was able to throw an interception. Ah, the life of a Browns fan.

Anyway, back to school tomorrow. The last full week before Christmas break. The week after that is just exams through Wednesday with an early release on that Wednesday.

This Wednesday is exciting though! My oldest son, Nathan, who is a senior, is joining the Army!!! He has already picked his job and all of that. This Wednesday he goes to MEPS for his physical and to swear in. So, my wife and I are taking the day off to watch him swear in. He does not leave for the Army until the end of July, but it is great he will be all set up and ready to go. I am super happy for him, and most importantly he is happy about his job, training, and leave date.

Well, everyone, have a great night!

Wishing Nathan the very best, you must be so proud!

Hello everyone!

Just to wish you all a most magnificent christmas and happy slide into the new year!
We're flying to England tonight - south first, then later north. The north has great snow now, which will undoubtedly turn to mush before we arrive, but no big deal! To see the rolling hills of England again will be a gift in and of itself.

I won't have much access to the internet while on holiday, so i'll again take this opportunity to wish you every happiness this season, and to thank you for your companionship through the year.

Also to Crown, for the ever-exciting'er daily countdown!

Merry Christmas, woooooo!!!

cb

Have a wonderful holiday chrimbo, Merry Christmas!

Morning MMC! Truly we are now getting so close to the Dynamic Duo! I'm excited beyond belief. But this is probably the most important week for me because I need to get a ton of things done while really taking Christmas in this week. I've got my work Christmas party Thursday and a ton to wrap plus some food shopping to do for Christmas Eve next weekend. My brother comes 1 week from today and then things may get even busier which is why I need to get stuff done this week all while working all week. Have a great Monday!

A few pictures from our city's Christmas market. Over 70 artisans selling their work. We bought homemade maple caramel, apple jelly and maple and apple doughnuts. My nose is stuffed up so couldn't taste a thing.

Santa was atad but overlit. There was a train going around for small children and a quartet singing carols. Really lovely hour spent there.

I’m getting a bit flustered thinking about everything that needs to be done. Tis the season! Hope your week goes well, enjoy every minute!

Good morning ~
Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Back to my regular routine today. Errands and chores for me. And some Christmas shopping of course. I’ll be making a pot of Italian Wedding Soup for dinner as well. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

My brother said to me the other day "How are we going to do everything in 2 weeks?" I told him well we can rest in January! Tis the season...enjoy every moment HMG. It's a lot of stuff but it's mostly all fun!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 29 **

Good Morning, Folks!

And thus we begin week FIVE of Christmas Season 2017.
Just racing along we are, toward the big day.
(Don't know about you, but things are just moving too fast for me this year. Seems like we are barely past Thanksgiving!)

Today's count:
Days to Christmas Day: 14 (TWO WEEKS from TODAY!)
(You read that right. Christmas Day will be here in just two short weeks. Fifty-two weeks down to TWO!)

Chilly again yesterday, but it was sunny, calm and dry so it did not seem nearly as cold as it did Saturday. Today will see a continuation of similar conditions but it should be a bit warmer.
This first day of the next-to-the-last week before Christmas has commenced here in the capital city at 32 degrees.

Well, the Panthers won yesterday and the Saints lost so I'm planning on having a Marvelous Monday. How about you?

Thanks Crown! I'm hearing we have a decent shot at a below average temperature Christmas!

I am keeping my fingers crossed! Sounds like you have a busy week ahead..don't worry it will all get done!

Merry Monday!
Back to the grind today. Although, I have a 1/2 day on Wednesday for a Dr's appt and then I am off Friday and Monday. I am in pretty good shape for shopping. Just some stocking stuffers and a pair of boots for my youngest daughter.
Hope you all have a great day!
So hard to believe it is only 2 weeks away!!

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! I can't believe it's only 2 weeks until Christmas Day! Things need to slow down!!!
We had a nice, relaxing weekend. I stayed with Mom Friday night until my sis came around 9pm. Then chilled at home. Saturday, Sunday besides a run to the store, I was home all day, both days! Got to watch it snow all day Saturday. Lucy (and I) LOVED it!! She's learning how to make a snow beard!! :D

Over the weekend I made Hug Pretzels, a double batch of sponge candy & Oreo Truffles. I think I'm done with candy now. This Saturday is cookie day & then it will be time to put together & pass out the candy trays! :)

I hope you all had a nice Christmassy weekend! Everyone, have a good Monday!

It has been tough around this area, with all the wildfires going on they have cancelled the Christmas parade locally and the ones in the next towns over as well. Need some Christmas cheer to happen!
*Prayers*

Please than Nathan for me, for his willingness to serve!
