Looks like the Halloween trail I walked October 15 (that was the day it really hit me...made me totally feel like Halloween was here and set me on to all the holidays ahead).
Checking on his brother.
Looks like a friendly house.
Always room for more pumpkins.
I've been thinking lately if I could rewind to one point right now this year it would be to October 15th when I was at the Haunted Trail and how it really hit me that day that we were heading "on the trail" right towards Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. That night has really stuck out to me this year...While driving today I went by a house that had a scarecrow out with like a pumpkin face. It was sitting on the porch I guess as a remnant of this Halloween gone by. Christmas stuff obviously out all around the neighborhood which is awesome, but I did like seeing that scarecrow. Very unusual for this late and I'm sure it was just left out more of laziness than anything else. Still a tiny reminder of what we will soon be shooting for once dreadful January rolls around!
Yeah I guess that is why my favorite spot to reach on the calendar is right about August. August is not my favorite month, but to have it all right in front of me from Labor Day to Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, I can't think of a better spot to be.I've been thinking lately if I could rewind to one point right now this year it would be to October 15th when I was at the Haunted Trail and how it really hit me that day that we were heading "on the trail" right towards Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yeah! And it's why I try not to rush the summer...I enjoy summer but also knowing "Everything is ahead of us" is exciting to me. Often I lay out for an hour in the sun in July and just close my eyes and think about everything to come over the next 6 months. It just makes me smile.Yeah I guess that is why my favorite spot to reach on the calendar is right about August.
